中国隐脉叶蝉族一新属新种记述(半翅目:叶蝉科:横脊叶蝉亚科)

中国隐脉叶蝉族一新属新种记述(半翅目:叶蝉科:横脊叶蝉亚科)

摘要:记述隐脉叶蝉族Nirvanini 1新属1新种,即:长索叶蝉属,新属Longiconnecta gen. nov.和斑缘长索叶蝉,新种L. marginalspota sp.nov., 新属以Nirvana basimaculata Wang et Li,1997作为模式种,同时建立3新组合,即:基斑长索叶蝉,新组合,L. basimaculata (Wang et Li) comb. nov.、白翅长索叶蝉,新组合L. albula (Cai et Shen) comb. nov.和黄色长索叶蝉,新组合L. flava (Cai et He) comb. nov.。新种模式标本保存于贵州大学昆虫研究所(GUGC)。

Longiconnecta Li & Xing gen. nov.

Type species:NirvanabasimaculataWang & Li,1997

Type species distribution: Guizhou (Xishui).

Description: Apex of head wide-circle produced in dorsal view, length of mid crown almost equal to distance between the eyes, crown border with carina, ocelli located at lateral area of crown near to eyes; frontclypeus slightly rise. Pronotum broader than crown, its middle sometimes with black spot; scutellum triangle, almost as long as pronotum; forewings with four apical cells, appendix narrow.

Pygofer side with ventral process; lateral margin of subgenital plate with long setae; base of aedeagal shaft often with processes; connective Y-shaped, its stem very long; style stick-shaped.

Etymology:Thenameofthenewgenusreferstotheverylongstemofconnective.

Distribution: Oriental Region.

Remarks: This new genus is very similar toNirvanaKirkaldy, but can be distinguished from the later by: 1) crown short; 2) pronotum sometimes with black spot; 3) stem of connective very long.

Longiconneta marginalspota Li & Xing sp. nov. (Fig.1)

Length of body (incl.teg.): ♂, 4.6 mm, ♀5.0 mm.

Holotype: ♂, CHINA: Yunnan, Gaoligongshan; 5 August 2013; coll. Yang Weicheng. Paratype: 1♀, Yunnan, Mengla; 22 July 2013; coll. Liu Yangyang .

Etymology: The species name is derived from the feature of the middle of posterior margin of forewings with a long brown spot.

Remarks:ThisspeciesissimilartoLongiconnectabasimaculata(Wang & Li), but can be distinguished from the later by: 1) pronotum without black spot; 2) middle of the posterior margin of forewings with a black spot; 3) aedeagal shaft with a fork-shaped long process at the dorsal margin.

长索叶蝉属,新属LongiconnectaLietXing gen. nov.

模式种:NirvanabasimaculataWangetLi,1997.

模式种产地:贵州习水。

属征:头冠前端宽圆突出,中央长度与二复眼间宽接近相等,冠面隆起,冠缝明显,边缘有脊;单眼位于头冠前侧缘,靠近复眼;颜面额唇基轻度隆起,中域平坦,两侧有横印痕。前胸背板较头部宽,与头冠接近等长,中后部常隐现黑色斑;中胸小盾片三角形,与前胸背板接近等长;前翅长超过腹部末端,革片基部翅脉模糊不清,端片狭小,有4个端室。

雄虫尾节侧瓣侧面观向外侧突出,端区有粗长刚毛,端腹缘有长的突起;雄虫下生殖板长片状,侧缘域有粗长刚毛列;阳茎构造简单,基部常具有突起;连索Y形,主干特长;阳基侧突近似棍棒状。

词源:新属名来源于拉丁词longi(长的)+connect(连索),意旨连索主干特长。

新属外形特征与隐脉叶蝉属NirvanaKirkaldy相似,不同点是本新属头冠较短,轻度隆起,前胸背板常隐现黑色斑,连索主干特长。

地理分布:东洋界。

本属为新厘定,共记述4种,含1新种和3新组合。

1斑缘长索叶蝉,新种Longiconneta marginalspotaLietXingsp.nov.(图1)

体连翅长,雄虫4.6mm,雌虫5.0mm。

头冠前端成锐角突出,中央长度明显大于二复眼间,冠面隆起,有细弱纵条纹向顶端会聚,冠缝明显,具缘脊;单眼位于头冠侧缘接近复眼前角处,与复眼的距离与距侧缘近似相等;颜面长略大于宽,额唇基基部轻度隆起,基域中央有纵脊,两侧有斜走皱褶,舌侧板狭小。前胸背板拱突,有细弱的横皱纹,前缘弧圆,后缘为凹;中胸小盾片横刻痕位于中后部,弧形弯曲,两端伸不达侧缘。

雄虫尾节侧瓣近似三角形突出,端缘向后延伸成光滑的线状突,端区有粗长刚毛;雄虫下生殖板宽短,端缘圆,中域有1列粗长刚毛,边缘有细小刚毛;阳茎基部圆形膨大,背缘有1枚端部分叉的片状突,阳茎干弯曲,末端部有2枚长刺突;连索Y形,主干特长,中长是臂长的3.5倍;阳基侧突中部较粗,端部成蟹钳状。雌虫腹部第7节腹板中央长度与第6节腹板接近等长,后缘中央笔架形。

体及前翅乳白色。复眼褐色;单眼橘黄色。前翅后缘中央1枚长斑、爪片末端、端区前缘3条斜线深褐色,端区淡褐色。虫体腹面淡黄白色,无明显斑纹。

词源:新种名来源于前翅后缘中部有1枚长形褐色斑。

分布:云南。

新种外形特征与基斑长索叶蝉Longiconnectabasimaculata(WangetLi)相似,不同点是,新种前胸背板无隐形黑色斑,前翅后缘中部有1枚褐色斑,阳茎干背缘有分叉的长突。

体连前翅长:雄虫4.5-4.7 mm,雌虫4.8-5.0 mm。

寄主:椿树。

A new genus and a new species of the tribe Nirvanini (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Nirvaninae) from China

Abstract:This paper describes a new genus, Longiconnecta gen. nov. (type species: Nirvana basimaculata Wang & Li, 1997) and a new species, L. marginalspota sp. nov., in the tribe Nirvanini, from China. Three new combinations: L. basimaculata (Wang & Li) comb. nov., L. albula (Cai & Shen) comb. nov., and L. flava (Cai & He) comb. nov. are also proposed. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).
