Zootopia《疯狂动物城》

提到迪士尼动画，相信很多人都会想起《冰雪奇缘》（Frozen）、《超能陆战队》（Big Hero 6）、《头脑大作战》（Inside Out）这些火爆全球的动画影片。迪士尼总能推陈出新，为我们带来一部又一部精彩的动画大片，其今年3月初推出的《疯狂动物城》（Zootopia）也不例外，上映不久就在全球掀起了一股“疯狂动物”热潮。影片在传统童话改编与标新立异的头脑风暴之间另辟蹊径，构建了一个现代化的动物社会。这个环境和气候比地球还美好、城市系统比地球还发达的国度是我们心中向往的梦幻之地，而影片所讲述的故事正是发生在这样一片充满自由气息的土地上。

还记得年少时的梦想吗？小时候的梦想总是伴随着最纯真的愿望，而影片就是从主人公兔子Judy的童年梦想展开的。电影开篇通过一幕趣味横生的儿童小短剧，为我们揭开了这个美好世界的一角。

Judy： Fear， treachery （背叛）， blood lust. Thousands of years ago these were the forces that ruled our world. A world where prey were scared of predators， and the predators had an uncontrollable biological urge to maim （使残疾） and maul （袭击） and ... Blood. Blood. Blood. And death. Back then， the world was divided in two： vicious predator， or meek prey. But over time we evolved and moved beyond our primitive， savage （野蛮的） ways. Now predator and prey live in harmony. And every young mammal has multitudinous （无数的） opportunities.

Sheep： Yeah， I don't have to cower （畏缩） in a herd anymore. Instead， I can be an astronaut.

Tiger： I don't have to be a lonely hunter anymore. Today I can hunt for tax exemptions （免税额）. I'm gonna be an actuary （保险计算员）.

Judy： And I can make the world a better place. I am going to be a police officer！ It may seem impossible to small minds. But， just 211 miles away， stands the great city of Zootopia， where our ancestors first joined together in peace， and declared that anyone can be anything！

一如小兔子Judy所说，她的梦想很单纯，就是让这个世界变得更美好。她想报考警校，成为一名警察，即便这个世界上还没有一只兔子当过警察，即便父母和275个兄弟姐妹都只是辛勤的农夫，即便体型娇小的她几下就被狐狸Gideon按倒在地而毫无还击之力。为了实现这个梦想，她愿意迎接一切挑战。无论多么严苛的训练都难不倒这只从来不知放弃的小兔子。经过不懈的努力和日复一日的刻苦训练，Judy最终成为第一只从警校毕业的兔子警察。

长大成人的Judy终于如愿以偿，她与家人挥泪告别，向动物城（Zootopia）进发。随着高速列车的飞驰，Judy第一次亲眼看见了动物城的精彩世界。在这个梦幻城邦，有着数不清的动物居民，他们生活在不同的地域之中，各司其职。在超级现代化的城市中，动物居民们用着智能手机和平板电脑，乘坐着四通八达的城际列车，穿梭在热带雨林、沙漠等不同的地貌之间。在中央车站里，小到仓鼠的专属管道，大到河马上岸后的烘干机，各式各样的公共设施服务于不同种类的动物居民们。看着眼前的这一切，Judy激动不已。她更加坚信“In Zootopia anyone can be anything！”。她迫切地想用行动证明，自己可以成为一名好警察。

当晚，Judy入住单身公寓，尽管房间简陋，尽管隔壁的邻居吵闹不休，但梦想成真的她一点都不介意。第二天一大早，Judy前往警察局报道。警察局水牛警长Bogo似乎对这位新晋员工格外不感兴趣，他只在早会上宣布了Judy的加入，随后就安排她负责处理违章停车的工作。看着其他同事都受命调查最近接连发生的十几起动物失踪案，而自己只能当一个交通协警，Judy多少有点失落。不过，对于这只永不放弃的兔子来说，任何事都不会让她心灰意冷。即便是给违章车辆开罚单，她也要做出成绩，毕竟这也是让城市变得更美好的一种方式。于是，她每天第一个出勤，开着小小的电瓶车，穿梭在马路间，给违章车辆开具罚单，不厌其烦地重复着这个无聊的工作。

一切就这样按部就班地进行着，直到Judy在大象雪糕店遇到狐狸Nick。看到Nick想给儿子Finnick买根雪糕作为生日礼物却被店员无情拒绝，Judy感动不已，她不但替他们说情，还自掏腰包，给他们买了一根巨型樱桃口味的雪糕。只可惜这背后的真相并不那么美好。原来，Nick与Finnick只是假扮成父子，来骗取巨型雪糕。他们转手就用那根巨型雪糕制作出了无数根爪子冰棒（Pawpsicle），卖给小仓鼠们挣钱。发现真相的Judy去找狐狸Nick理论，却反被Nick嘲讽了一番。

Nick： Okay. Tell me if this story sounds familiar. Naive little hick （乡巴佬） with good grades and big ideas decides， "Hey， look at me， I'm gonna move to Zootopia where predators and prey live in harmony and sing Kumbaya1！" Only to find， whoopsie （哎哟）， we don't all get along. And that dream of becoming a big city cop， double whoopsie， she's a meter maid （女交警）. And whoopsie number threesie， no one cares about her or her dreams. And soon enough those dreams die， and our bunny sinks into emotional and literal squalor （糟糕的境地）， living in a box under a bridge. Till finally she has no choice but to go back home with that cute fuzzy-wuzzy （短而毛茸茸的） little tail between her legs to become ... You're from Bunnyburrow （兔子镇）. Is that what you said？ So how about a carrot farmer？ That sound' about right？ [Judy只顾追着Nick走，差点被路过的犀牛踩到] Be careful now， or it won't just be your dreams getting crushed.

Judy： Hey， hey. No one tells me what I can or can't be. Especially not some jerk （傻瓜） who never had the guts （胆量） to try to be anything more than a Pawpsicle hustler （骗子）.

Nick： All right. Look， everyone comes to Zootopia thinking they can be anything they want. Well， you can't. You can only be what you are. Sly fox. Dumb bunny.

Judy： I'm not a dumb bunny.

Nick： Right. [Judy不小心踩进了路上刚铺的水泥里] And that's not wet cement. You'll never be a real cop. You're a cute meter maid， though. Maybe a supervisor one day. Hang in there.

听了Nick的一番言语，Judy心灰意冷。回到公寓后，Judy装作很开心的样子向父母汇报新工作和新生活，却被父母发现她只是一个处理违章停车的女交警，而不是一个真正的警察。这让只希望女儿平平安安的父母很开心，却让Judy愈发失落。她的警察生涯刚刚开始就陷入了低谷。

次日，Judy照常上街开具罚单，却意外撞上一起抢劫事件。尽管Judy最后抓到了偷花种的鼬鼠Weaselton，还救了一位市民，但警长Bogo却以她擅离职守之由意欲辞退她。多亏恰巧赶来的绵羊副市长Bellwether的帮助，Judy才没有被辞退，而且还获得了调查花匠水獭Otterton失踪案的机会，虽然Bogo只给了她两天时间，但是Judy格外珍惜这次一展身手的机会。天公作美，这起案件的第一个线索就指向了狐狸Nick这个目击证人。Nick特立独行，他和一心想实现警察梦的Judy有着太多的不同。他们一个世故圆滑，一个耿直热血，一个是社会边缘的小混混，一个是法律的捍卫者。性格迥异的两人在经历了初次相遇不欢而散后还能携手合作吗？

起初，狐狸Nick自然是不愿意协助查案的，可惜Judy这次可不再那么好糊弄。她将Nick炫耀自己坑蒙拐骗的话录了音，要挟他帮自己完成调查。Nick表面答应，暗地里却故意作弄Judy。他带着Judy前往裸体主义者俱乐部，想用裸体动物给Judy一个下马威。之后他又带她去了车管所，找了行动极其迟缓的树懒来帮忙查一个车牌号，结果白白浪费了一天的时间。好在这一番折腾没有白费，他们根据车牌号追踪到了黑帮老大Mr. Big的豪宅。不过，偷偷溜进来调查的两人刚有了点儿发现，就被Mr. Big的手下抓住了。Mr. Big意欲处死这两个不速之客，幸好Mr. Big的女儿及时出现，才救下了他们。原来Judy在追捕小偷Weaselton时解救的市民正是Mr. Big心爱的女儿。危机迎刃而解，两人根据Mr. Big提供的线索，找到了驾驶那辆车的司机美洲豹Manchas。不过让他们意想不到的是，Manchas突然兽性大发，开始追杀他们。Judy向警局请求支援，可等水牛警长Bogo赶来时，Manchas早已不见了踪影。Bogo认为Judy无中生有，恼怒至极的他命令Judy立刻交出警徽，自行辞职。站在一旁的狐狸Nick再也看不下去，他挺身而出，与Bogo理论一番，随后带着Judy离开了。在路上，为了安慰Judy，Nick向她讲起了自己的故事。

Judy： Thank you.

Nick： Never let them see that they get to （对……产生影响） you.

Judy： So ... things do get to you？

Nick： I am not， not anymore. But ... I was small， that's true， like I was 8， maybe 9 ... And all I wanted to do was join the Junior Ranger Scouts （巡林童子军）. So my mom scraped （拼凑） together enough money to buy me a brand new uniform. Because， by god， I was gonna fit in. Even if I was the only predator in the troop， the only fox. I was gonna be part of a pack. I was so proud. [回忆起了自己当时被小伙伴们捉弄、嘲笑、殴打的经历] I learned two things that day. One： I was never gonna let anyone see that they got to me.

Judy： And two？

Nick： If the world's only gonna see a fox as shifty （诡诈的） and untrustworthy ... there's no point in trying1 to be anything else.

Judy： Nick， you are so much more than that.

原来，Nick小时候曾梦想成为一名童子军，然而因为这个社会根深蒂固的偏见，狐狸总是得不到别的动物的信任和善待。残酷的社会现实逼迫他只能生活在社会的边缘，过着坑蒙拐骗的法外生活。此刻，他用自己的经历鼓舞Judy，希望她可以继续努力，实现自己的梦想，成为一名真正的警察。

利用仅剩的十个小时，Judy和Nick通过公路上安装的摄像头最终查到了Manchas被关押的地方。他们想方设法混了进去，找到了Manchas，却发现之前失踪的Otterton以及其他失踪的动物居然全都被关在这里。更让人意想不到的是，这一切的幕后黑手竟然是狮子市长Lionheart。这个美好、和平的城市因为Judy破获的这起案件变得人心惶惶，因为没有人能解释这些失踪的食肉动物为何全部神智失常、野性大发。城市里的食草动物开始惧怕所有的食肉动物，他们希望由绵羊副市长Bellwether出面解决难题，而Judy也被晋升为警局的新代言人。在警察局召开的记者会上，Judy说出了自己的看法，她认为这些食肉动物神智失常是因为他们骨子里固有的捕食者基因。听了这一番话，Nick感觉自己再一次受到了伤害，忍不住质问起Judy来。

Nick： "Clearly there's a biological component"？ "These predators may be reverting back to their primitive， savage ways"？ Are you serious？

Judy： I just stated the facts of the case. I mean， it's not like a bunny could go savage.

Nick： Right， but a fox could？ Huh？

Judy： Nick， stop it. You're not like them.

Nick： Oh， there's a "them" now？

Judy： You know what I mean. You're not that kind of predator.

Nick： The kind that needs to be muzzled （给……戴口套）？ The kind that makes you think you need to carry around fox repellant？ [Judy下意识摸了下身上携带的防狐喷雾剂] Yeah， don't think I didn't notice that little item the first time we met. So let me ask you a question. Are you afraid of me？ Do you think I might go nuts （发疯）？ You think I might go savage？ You think I might try to eat you？ [Nick边说边假装要吃掉Judy，Judy害怕得往后退] I knew it. Just when I thought somebody actually believed in me， huh？ Probably best if you don't have a predator as a partner.

失去搭档的Judy心灰意冷，她意识到自己不但没有将世界变得更美好，反而让大家对食肉动物产生了偏见，于是她辞去职务，返回了兔子镇。就在Judy心不在焉地帮助父母售卖胡萝卜时，小时候欺负过她的狐狸Gideon突然造访。如今已成为面点师的他向Judy致以深深的歉意，而且Judy还意外从他口中得知，自家地里种的用来驱虫的那种花居然又名Night Howlers （午夜嚎叫）。一旁的父母告诉她，这种花误食以后会令人发疯，她的叔叔就是因此发疯的。联想此前破案的种种，Judy猛然醒悟，这种毒花才是让那些食肉动物失去理智的原因，之前都是她的偏见蒙蔽了理智，她需要尽快弥补自己的错误。她返回动物城，找到狐狸Nick，向他承认了自己的错误，希望可以再次获得好友的信任，找回自己的最佳搭档。

Judy： Oh， Nick. Night Howlers aren't wolves； they're toxic （有毒的） flowers. I think someone is targeting predators on purpose and making them go savage.

Nick： Wow. Isn't that interesting？

Judy： Wait， please don't ... I know you'll never forgive me. And I don't blame you. I wouldn't forgive me either. I was ignorant， irresponsible and small-minded. But predators shouldn't suffer because of my mistakes. I have to fix this. But I can't do it without you. And after we're done you can hate me. [哭了起来] And that'll be fine. Because I was a horrible friend and I hurt you. And you ... you can walk away knowing that you were right. All along. I really am just a dumb bunny.

Nick： [用录音笔录下Judy说的话] "I really am just a dumb bunny. I really am just a dumb bunny." Don't worry， Carrots， I'll let you erase it. In 48 hours. All right， get in here. [Nick把Judy揽在怀里] Okay. Oh， you bunnies. You're so emotional.

就这样，这对最佳拍档再次联手，他们从小偷鼬鼠Weaselton查起，追踪毒花的来源，最终在一辆废弃的地铁列车里找到了正在制毒的几只绵羊。为了保留证据，Judy把列车开向市中心，结果却遭到了绵羊的围追堵截，列车最终脱轨爆炸。好在狐狸Nick还留有证据，他带着Judy一起逃跑，却突然遇到了绵羊副市长Bellwether。Judy意识到Bellwether有问题，于是和Nick上演了一出狐狸野性爆发意欲吃掉兔子的戏码，诱使Bellwether露出了真面目，并将阴谋诡计和盘托出。Bellwether没有想到Nick和Judy将她说的话全部录了下来，就在她准备逃跑之际，水牛警长Bogo及时赶来，将其抓获。被毒害的动物们终于恢复正常，动物城的居民也恢复了以往的和平与友爱。这一次，不仅Judy恢复了职位，连狐狸Nick也被邀请加入了警察的行列，两人终于都实现了自己童年的梦想。

影片就这样给简单的追梦故事穿上了一件警匪片的外衣。在警校毕业典礼上，历尽艰辛的兔子警官Judy发表了这样一番演讲：“When I was a kid， I thought Zootopia was this perfect place where everyone got along， and anyone could be anything. Turns out， real life 's a little bit more complicated than a slogan on a bumper sticker （保险杠贴纸）. Real life is messy. We all have limitations. We all make mistakes. Which means， hey， glass half full （朝事情积极面看的态度）， we all have a lot in common. And the more we try to understand one another， the more exceptional each of us will be. But we have to try. So no matter what type of animal you are， from the biggest elephant to our first fox， I implore （恳求） you try ... try to make the world a better place. Look inside yourself and recognize that change starts with you. It starts with me. It starts with all of us.”在现实世界中，我们都会面临与兔子Judy一样的困境，也会遭到与狐狸Nick一样的质疑。面对这些困境和质疑，最重要的是告诉自己，决定自己未来的不是别人，而是拥有一颗坚定梦想的初心。带着这份初心不断努力，让自己变得更好，才能让梦想开花，才能让这个世界变得更美好。这不仅仅是片中小动物们的梦想之旅，也是我们每个人在这个美好地球上的共同心愿。
