In this paper, acetic acid - water azeotropic distillation is calculated by using simulation software ASPEN PLUS. The NRTL-HOC thermodynamic model is used to calculate the azeotropic system, and the obtained gas-liquid equilibrium data at atmospheric pressure are compared with the literature, which is relatively consistent with the literature data. The residual curve of the ternary system of acetic acid - water - n-butyl acetate is simulated, and the distillation process simulation for this ternary heterogeneous azeotropic system is designed with the combination of the residual curve. The results show that under the studied feed conditions, the optimal operating parameters: the number of theoretical plates is 34; the main feed position at the fourteen theoretical plates; azeotropic agent using total reflux, water phase reflux ratio of 0.27 to 0.3.

In this paper, a new type of biodegradable polyglycolic acid (PGA) is proposed for the two problems of homogenization of domestic glycol enterprises and the deepening of "white pollution". In this paper, polyglycolic acid as a new type of biodegradable material is described from the properties and the market as well as the process scheme and the economic benefit of coal-based glycol co-production with polyglycolic acid. It not only outperforms the performance and cost of various types of biodegradable materials on the market, but also can improve the economic benefits of coal-based glycol enterprises, with excellent prospects for development.

Taking a project as an example, this paper introduces the characteristics of PDMS 3D design software, the establishment of project and database, and the structural layer and naming characteristics of data in the modular design project. Then it introduces the general application of PDMS 3D design software in piping design, structural design, instrument design and electrical design as well as the special requirements of modular design. Finally, this paper gives a brief introduction to checking methods of PDMS three-dimensional design software and the special requirements of modular design for archived file. These methods will provide a useful reference for the designers to use PDMS 3D design software for modular design.

Based on analysis of API 610, NACE MR0175 and NACE MR0103 standard, this paper contrasts the standards of NACE MR0175 and NACE MR0103, and describes the method of material selection. This paper illustrates the determination of stress corrosion environment and the selection of materials. By comparison, NACE MR0103 standard more accords with the requirement of petrochemical production, which is easy to use and can be preferred to choose.

Gravel pile is a kind of granular material pile, which is widely used in petrochemical storage tank project and is a kind of economical and effective foundation treatment method. At present there are a variety of pile-forming methods of gravel pile, such as vibro-replacement stone pile, vibrating sunken tube gravel pile, column hammer blasting crushed stone pile and so on. In this paper, seven methods to determine the bearing capacity of gravel pile composite foundation are discussed in terms of basic assumptions, calculation models, calculation parameters, calculation formulas and so on. The calculation results of the seven kinds of methods are compared with the experimental results by engineering examples.
