Li Jiangong Land Resources Official of Shanxi under Investigation

As announced on November 18， Land Resources Section Chief of Shanxi Provincial Government Li Jiangong is currently under investigation for being suspected of serious violation against law and discipline.

Li Jiangong is the third bureau-level official investigated by Shanxi Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission after Huang Xiaowei was appointed as Provincial Party Secretary. Huang Xiaowei is also a member of the Standing Committee of Central Discipline Inspection Commission. Notably， Li is also the fourth corrupt official that was born in Pinglu County and exposed recently. Pinglu County was famous for being the family origin of several high-profile corrupt officials， including Ling Zhengce， Chen Chuanping and Liu Suiji. According to earlier report， these Pinglu-originated officials were deeply connected with each other.

Informant says that Li Jiangong is investigated for being involved in illegal operations in the mineral resource exploration and integration of Shanxi Province. More importantly， the investigation against him is also a sequel of the one against Song Lin， former Huarun Group Chairman who was sacked for serious misconduct， massive embezzlement and corruption.

As earlier report revealed， Land Resources Section of Shanxi Provincial Government was suspected of illegally renewing the mineral exploring permit for Jinye Group， a business partner of Huarun， and Li Jiangong was suspected of being the manipulator of this deal behind the stage.
