How to improve the students'grades for an English teacher

The teacher plays a very important role on the stage of education.Although behaving well is important for a student,the grade of him is more.Then how to improve the students'grades for an English teacher?This passage tells you about it from three aspects:1.Lead-in in a novel way and motivate the students' learning interests;2.Set up the new relationship between the teachers and the students;3.Build the cooperative relationship between students and students,which are helpful to improve the students'grades.

The students’grade can reflect the education’s success or failure in some degree,so it is necessary for us English teachers to think how to improve the students’grades deeply.My ideas about it are below:

一、Lead-in in a novel way and motivate the students,learning interests.

There are many kinds of ways of lead-in foe the new lesson.You can lead-in by going over the last class’s content.But if you often do it like this,the students will feel very bored,and then lose the interest of study.We can lead in the new lesson by a scene about our daily life or a conte.It will improve students’interest on study if you let them learn in play and play in learn.For example,imagining that I am having the lesson,Earthquake,firstly I let my students watch the videos about’Wen Chuan Earthquake’or‘The big Tangshan Earthquake’in order to let them know about related plots for earthquake,and then teach them some easy and effective methods to face it when the terrible one comes.At the same time I show them the new words in this unite,then the students’interests on study upsurge,thus they will put their hearts and souls into study.And then the teaching’s effectiveness will be improved obviously.How the effect of a class also depends on every lead-in which we have designed.As the words’A good beginning is half done’,every English teacher should buckle the lead-in tightly which has been designed elaborately in the process of preparing lessons to motivate the students’interest for study and like studying while playing and in happiness.

二、Set up the new relationship between the teachers and the students.

The teachers should change their own ways on minds and teaching behaviours,put an end to a situation firmly that the teachers speak more and the students exercise less,really give the class to the boys and the girls so as to realize the new relationship between the teachers and the students in which the teachers play a leading part and the opposite are subjects.While having lessons,many teachers are used to telling the language points in a degree of reaching every aspect of a matter,fearing that some others are missing,but in fact the final result isn’t good.The main reason is that the boys and the girls don’t agree to take part in the activities for study in class,you get half the results with twice the effort.So we teachers should speak less,even don’t do,let the students make full use of their minds and think them over adequately、discuss、explain the lesson on their own.We will finish the teaching tasks easily and it will exercise the students’abilities if we and the students take those actions as above listed.Why aren’t we happy to do it?

三、Build the cooperative relationship between students and students.

Group members can help、encourage and interact each other in the process of finishing the task together by a cooperative studying way in English teaching,which is helpful to form the spirits of unity and cooperation and finish the tasks for study.The cooperative and studying situations which the teachers make in the process of teaching build a platform in order to develop the students’cooperative senses and abilities.The teachers should give students more opportunities to communicate with and improve each other in class;The teachers should create better environment for the boys and the girls in which they can cooperate with each other and take part in the games in the activities;The teachers should give more opportunities for them to experience helping each other and share the joy with each other in the life.The students learn to communicate、help and share in the contact between a single person and a group in a cooperative environment,and then they can respect.understand and appreciate others,meanwhile they can get the same effect by others. To a teaching in class for a foreign language,it increases the opportunity for the students to speak and creates a loose environment for study,thus it can achieve good teaching’s effectiveness in class.

In one word,the English teachers should explore and create teaching constantly,use modern teaching ways and means,motivate the students’enthusiasm for study,improve their initiative for study,give play to their subjective function fully,which are made to improve the students’grades gradually and well.
