The traditional music culture，as important component to the traditional art，has great significance in its inheritance and innovation.It has a more profound cultural background，from which the cultural status of historical periods can be presented as well as the hallmarks of culture development.It is the origin for the development of the modern culture.Fully integrating the elements in traditional music culture will thicken a more profound cultural background for modern music and give impetus to its art and epoch innovations to form a new philosophy in modern music composition.

2.Classic music serves as a foil to new thought for modern music composition

In the ancient Chinese musical masterpieces，Three Stanzas of Plum-blossoms and Shi Mian Mai Fu，their connotations entirely different with human’s feelings delivered in the first and human’s war sentiment stirred in the latter，are deserved to be the ancient classic music.These antique styles，considered as rarity in traditional music，are effectively applied in the modern music composition.Thus，the music classic style has deepened the inflect on the modern music composition on the levels of both culture and art to make the traditional music culture disseminate in inheritance and show composers innovative thought as well.
