《What are you doing?》教学设计与反思

一、教学内容:
义务教育课程标准实验教科书PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit 4 What are you doing?第六课时B部分的内容。
二、教学目标:
1.知识与技能:
能听、说、读、写句型:Grandpa is writing a letter. Brother is doing homework. Mom is cooking dinner in the kitchen. He is writing an e-mail in the study.”能够用“Mom is cooking dinner in the kitchen等句子介绍家人正在做什么。
2.过程与方法:
本节课以热身、复习、新课展示、巩固和延伸、总结等过程进行的,运用了TPR教学法、任务型教学法、五步教学法、听说法、讲解法、练习法、讨论法等方法。
3. 情感态度价值观:
通过听、说、练、唱、看等活动,培养学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们树立学习英语的信心。在学习的过程中运用同桌练习、小组操练等形式,培养学生的团结合作的优秀品质和热爱生活的美好情感。
4. 教学重难点:
本节课的重点是掌握句型:Mom is …… in the……等句子的书写。运用本单元所学习的内容来完成接电话的任务是本课的教学难点。
5.教学准备:
教材配套磁带、人物做动作的图片、词卡、耳迈、键盘等。
6.教学过程:
(1)(Warm up)Chant引入,创设良好的学习氛围
T: Hello, boys and girls, Glad to see you here, Are you
happy today? If youre happy, lets sing a chant.
(2)(Review)复习动词短语的现在分词形式,为学习语言新知做铺垫
T: I have some flashcards. I find students read the words. And use the words make the sentences, and please tell us“Present Progressive Tense”.
(3)T: Lets act Part B “Lets talk”
三、(Presentation)在情境中感知语言,学习语言
1. T: Look at these pictures, Now, You are looking into. Then lets play a game“Plus sentences”.
2. T: How are you? ( Fine, Thank you.)(教师板书)
T: How are you doing today? (板书How are you doing?)
Lead students answer: just fine. ( 板书just fine)
Then writing “everybody” Ask students: Hows everybody doing?
Lead students answer: just fine.
3. T: Listen to the tape “Read and write”. First and read after recorder. Then find students read the dialogue.
4. T:Youre great. You understand. But I dont understand. Can you help me? Let‘s watch and judge.
5. T: Now, lets talk about. And finish the sentences at Page 51学生回答,教师板书。
6. T: Now, lets have a rest. Lets sing a song together“do-re-mi”。
四、(Consolidation and Extension)在情境中巩固语言,应用语言
1、T:I have some articles. For example: earphone. broom. keyboard and so on. (Find students come to the front. Choose one article and act. Then the other students describe “What is he\she doing?”
五、(Sum-up and Homework)运用所学语言,布置作业内容,延伸课堂教学
Sum-up: What did we learn in this lesson?
Homework: Today our homework are important sentences in “Read and write”.
T: Boys and girls, in this lesson we are very happy, now lets sing together.把所学习的重点句子编成歌曲来唱。
反思:
现在进行时是我们在日常生活中经常用到的,设计贴近生活实际的教学情境是本节课的宗旨。
开始我以Chant来导入,通过复习引入,逐层的深入,以旧知带新知,让新旧知识相结合,再加上情境的创设,使课堂气氛一直处在轻松的状态中。听、说、读、写是学习英语的最基本的技能,在本节课中我也遵循了这一教学原则。加强了各环节的训练。如:用单词卡来造句子、观察图片说句子、学生角色表演、书写中的Ask the questions等等。本节课重视培养学生的实际语言运用能力,针对小学生的认知规律和心理年龄特征,本着“采用活动途径,倡导体验参与”的基本理念来设计本课的教学。精心创设情境,引导学生进行语言操练。有效地激发了学生运用语言进行交际的能力,多种教学法贯穿于整个课堂,充分体现了小学英语的趣味性和灵活性,极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣,达到了“学中有玩,玩中有学”的双重效果。
通过本节课的教学,使我感觉到作为一名教师要充分的备课,能够创设出贴近生活的教学设计是有效教学的策略之一。
