教学内容:仁爱湘教版初中英语八年级下Unit 5 Topic 2 I feel better now Section A

教学目标:

1.Learn some new words and phrases:学习新单词短语

Be strict with, shy, send, take it easy

2.Master adverbial clauses of reason:原因状语从句

She feels very lonely because she has no friends to talk with.

3.Learn and master the sentences about personal feelings and characters further : 学习掌握的句子

Shes so unhappy.

Li Hong is quiet and shy.

Im really worried about her.

教学重点:The main activities are 1a and 3.本课重点活动是1a和3

教学用具:幻灯片 小黑板

教学过程:Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间5分鈡)

复习上节课内容

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, teacher…

T:Please let me introduce myself, my name is Li Dan and you can call me Mary. I am feeling so happy to see you here.

How are you feeling now?

Ss: Happy, surprised…

T: How will you feel when you lost the key to your bike?

Ss: worried, upset, unhappy, angry, mad…

T: How will you feel when suddenly a big dog ran at you on your way to school?

Ss: afraid, frightened…

T: All these words can show our feelings.以上那些单词可以表达我们的感受

T: How will you feel if you did badly in an English exam?

Ss: sad, afraid…

T: Yes, if we did badly in an exam, well feel unhappy.

Step 2 Presentation第二步 呈现(时间10分钟)

呈现1a:

T: Today we are going to learn a new lesson, its about Li Hong. Now let me show you what we will learn.

1.T:Now listen to the dialogue and find out:播放录音,让学生带着任务听1a

(1)Is Li Hong strict with herself?

(2)Is Li Hong active or shy?

2.再听1a,呈现听力任务

T:Lets listen again. Then answer the following questions:

1.Does Helen look worried?

2.Why is Li Hong crying?

3.Whats Li Hong like?

4.What will Miss Wang do later?

听完录音,要求学生回答问题,讲解知识点:

T: Ok, stop here. Please give me the answers.Does Helen look worried?

Ss: Yes, she does.

T: Why is Li Hong crying?

Ss: Because she did badly in an English exam ...

Step3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间12分钟)

1.复习巩固1a,并完成1b

T: Now lets read the dialogue together, I‘d like boys to act Miss Wang, and girls act Helen, then lets change.

2. If your friend is unhappy what should you do to cheer them up? Make a dialogue and act it out! Try to use what we have learned in the dialogue.

Step4 Practice第四步 练习(时间13分钟)

练习本课的重点语法:

1.Competition. Making sentences with adj and try to use adverbial clause. e.g.Boy1: The girl feels so lonely.

2.听录音完成3

T: What is an e-card? Do you know?

Step5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动(时间5分钟)

Discuss if you are Miss Wang what you will say to Li Hong.

Sum up the lesson.

家庭作业:

1. Page 10 work alone 2.

2. Write an e-card to your friend if he or she is ill and isnt able to come to school.
