Jinchuan Becomes a Shareholder of Huading Copper

At the end of 2011, the signing ceremony was held for China Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. to become a shareholder of Baotou Huading Copper Development Co.,Ltd. As a leading company of the copper deep processing industry in the high-tech rare earth zone, Baotou Huading Copper developed rapidly with growing economic strength in recent years, and made great contributions to local economic and social development. With the total investment of RMB 5 billion, the 100,000-ton raw copper smelting and deep processing expansion project will be completed in November 2012. After being put into operation,the project may achieve the output of 120,000 tons of copper and copper deep processing products and 500,000 tons of sulfuric acid, with annual sales of more than RMB 10 billion and tax of more than RMB 0.25 billion. The investment of China Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. in Huading Copper not only effectively solved the problems of supply of raw materials, but also enhanced capital strength of relevant enterprises, and thus is of great significance for expansion of the raw copper smelting and deep processing project of Huading Copper, extension of copper deep processing industrial chain and promotion of industrial transition and upgrading.
At the signing ceremony, responsible persons of shareholder representatives (Zhen Xiong Copper Group, JNMC and Inner Mongolia Hitech Holding Co., Ltd.) and the high-tech zone indicated that they will provide related enterprises with high-quality services and create favorable environment, thus creating favorable conditions for Huading Copper to build itself into an enterprise with more than RMB 10 billions of sales revenue.
