China Gold Group and Xinjiang Sign a Mineral Cooperation Agreement

At the Second China-Eurasia Expo held in Urumqi from September 2 to September 7, on behalf of the group, Wei Shanfeng, vice general manager of China Gold Group, signed framework agreements for cooperative development of mineral resources with the People’s Government of Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of and the People’s Government of Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture respectively, with the aim of jointly promoting mineral resources development in Xinjiang.
This time, Bayingol and its counties and development areas signed agreement with China Gold Group for 20 projects, involving petroleum and petrochemical, energy and environmental conservation, mining development,cultural tourism, commercial services and infrastructure; the total amount of the agreement was 9,818 million yuan. Bortala and its counties signed agreements for a total of 39 projects; total amount of the agreements was 20,757 million yuan.
