Tianjin Municipal Government Entered Into Strategic Cooperation with CHINALCO

The signing ceremony of framework agreement for strategic cooperation between Tianjin Municipal Government and CHINALCO was held in Tianjin Guest House on August 11th.

Tianjin Municipal Government indicated that CHINALCO is the largest nonferrous metal enterprise in China. The signing of framework agreement for strategic cooperation between both sides is a signal that concrete cooperation has entered a new stage with more extensive coverage. Targeting at the frontier of high-end industry development, it is hoped to promote cooperation in geological prospecting, financial innovation, logistics & trade, and processing base. We will strengthen communication and coordination, and improve supporting services,in order to promote smooth cooperation between both sides.

According to the agreement, both sides will focus on exploring organic integration between capital and industry, expanding overall strategic cooperation in finance, resource, energy sectors. In the early stage, the focus should be placed on cooperation in geological prospecting, mining right and property right transaction,intending to carry out investment and financing activities by fully utilizing the platform of Tianjin Mining Exchange, in order to promote Tianjin to become a domestic pricing center for key resources such as aluminum and copper.While fully utilizing Tianjin’s advantages in policy, location, and port transport, it is also expected to bring out the strengths of CHINALCO in talent, technology, resource, and management, and progressively extend cooperation to wharf, warehouse, logistics, and trade sectors.
