take 本义是carry sb. / sth. from one place to ano ther，有“携带和运载”的意思。但是它灵活多变，在生活中随处可见。

一、拿、取、带、搬某人或某物，常见的结构是take sb. / sth. to... 例如：

Please take the flowers away.

请把花拿走。

Dont forget to take your umbrella with you.

不要忘记随身携带雨伞。

Could you take my books to the classroom, please？take 表示“拿、取”的意思，后面常跟宾语。但是它强调的是把某人或某物从说话处带到别处。注意：如果表示把某人或某物从别处带到说话处，应用 bring。例如：

Could you take my books to the classroom, please？

请你把我的这些书带到教室去好吗?

Can you bring your photos here tomorrow？

明天你能把你的照片带到这儿来吗?

Dont forget to bring your homework to our school on Monday.

不要忘记周一把作业带到学校。

二、意为“吃（喝）、乘坐”。例如：

Take the medicine three times a day.

这药一天吃3次。

We have taken a train to Harbin many times before.

我们以前多次乘火车去过哈尔滨。

三、意为“花费，需要”。基本句型是It takes sb. some time to do sth.（花费某人多长时间做某事）。例如：

How long will it take you to do your homeworkthis evening?

你今天晚上做作业要用多长时间？

It usually takes me 3 days to readevery week.

每周我要花3天时间读书。

四、take + n. 构成的词组，常见的有：take effect（生效，发生作用）；take aim（瞄准）；take care（当心，注意）；take office（就职）；take trouble （费事）；take notes（记笔记）；take pains（费力）；take place（发生）；take heart（鼓起勇气）；take exercise （做运动）；take photo （拍照）。例如：

These ways began to take effect.

这些方法刚开始见效。

Taking notes is good for your studying English.

记笔记有利于你学习英语。

五、take + adv. / prep. 构成的词组，常见的有：take away （拿走，拿开）；take back （收回）；take down（拆开，记下）；take in （欺骗，领会，包括，容纳）；take off （起飞，成名，脱掉）；take on（呈现，接纳）；take out（取出，拔出）；take up （学习，占去，从事，接纳）；take over （接收，接管）。“动词 + 副词短语”结构，如果后面有代词，必须放在动词和副词中间，而在“动词 + 介词短语”结构中，可以把代词放在中间，也可以放在动词和副词后边。比如Youd better take it off. 不能说Youd better take off it.例如：

He took back what he said just now.

他收回了刚才说的话。

The plane will take off at 10 oclock tomorrow.

飞机将在明天10点起飞。

Please take it away now.

现在请把它拿走。

六、take + n. + prep.构成的词组，常见的有：take account of （考虑）；take advantage of （利用）；take charge of （负责，管理）；take hold of （抓住）；take notice of （注意）；take part in （参加）；take pride in（为……感到骄傲）；take delight in（乐于）；take pity on（同情）。例如：

I took charge of the work last Sunday.

上周我管理这项工作。

Why is he taking notice of me all the time?

为什么他一直注意我？

They took part in the activity.

他们积极参加了这项活动。

七、take + an / a + n.构成的词组，表示与该名词意义相关的动作。常见的有：take a walk（散步）；take a rest（休息一下）；take a look（看一看）；take a shower （淋浴、洗澡）；take a ride （兜风）；take an underground （乘地铁）；take an exam （参加考试）；take a message for sb. （给某人捎个口信）。例如：

Lets take a rest.

让我们休息一会儿。

Can I take a massage for him？

我可以给他留个口信吗？
