Chinese artist uses animals to convey the Olympic message

Coinciding with the opening of theBeijing Olympic Games, a paint-ing exhibition with an Olympictheme by Chinese painter LiuZhong, 39, is being held in the capital. Liuhas cleverly used birds and animals to il-lustrate his vision of the world's biggestspotting event. In one work he has painted,five parrots in the Olympic colors fly out ofthe Bird's Nest, while in another an elephanthas its tusks decorated with the lucky clouddesigns on the Beiiing Olympic torch.
