China's textile and apparel industry suffered an unprecedented cold market for exports in thefirst quarter this year, the result of a few factor is including: the appreciating RMB, decreasing cxport rebate rate,expanding influence of the U.S. subprimecrisis, increasing costs of production andrising labor cost. The latest statistics,how ever, show that the textile and apparelexports in March increased by 40～50％,boosting the total export growth rate forthe first quarter to 17.70％.
