The majority of students from China's quake-hit area have returned toschool, either in temporary Sichuan classrooms or in other parts of thecountry.

"The students of BeichuanMiddle School who survivedthe earthquake should bemore strong-minded," said LiXiumei, a student of the school, at a cer-emony to mark the resumption of classeson May 19, seven days after the earth-quake.
