"The riot in Tibet is not onlytargeted at Han people orother minority ethnic groupsin Tibet, but also at lo-cal Tibetans. So the riot is not ethnic feudbetween the Han and Tibetan peoples,"said Lian Xiangmin, Director of ResearchProjects Office, China Tibetology ResearchCenter, at a press briefing on the March 14riot in Lhasa.
