The Convening of Sub-Forum on Road Traffic Management of the 2024 Conference of Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang)

The Sub-Forum on Road Traffic Management of the 2024 Conference of Global Public Security Cooperation Forum （Lianyungang） was held in Lianyungang City of Jiangsu Province on September 8. The sub-forum gathered around 100 participants， including representatives from international organizations， such as the World Health Organization （WHO）， and the Global Road Safety Partnership （GRSP）， experts and scholars from Australia， Singapore， Hong Kong and other countries and regions， representatives from the Ministry of Public Security of China， the Ministry of Transport of China， universities， research institutes， technology enterprises， and traffic police officers. The sub-forum was hosted by China Association for Friendship and organized by the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security.

The sub-forum， themed Promoting Global Traffic Safety Management， aims to promote global road traffic safety governance， strengthen cooperation and experience sharing among countries worldwide， especially the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative， in areas such as road traffic safety， traffic accident investigation and handling， and law enforcement. This contributes to achieving the goals of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 and exerts a positive global impact.

During the sub-forum， experts and scholars at home and abroad discussed road traffic safety situations， shared road traffic safety concepts， and sought road traffic safety solutions. The outcome document Global Road Traffic Safety Governance Consensus was released.
