Miguel is a 12-year-old boy. He and his family live in a small village in Mexico（墨西哥）. Music is Miguels favorite in the world. But his family hates it. Every time they hear the boy say，“I want to be a musician（音樂家），” they get really angry.

This is because Miguels great-great grandfather（高祖父） was once a famous musician， but he left（离开） his family. Miguel finds out that his favorite musician， Ernesto de la Cruz， is probably（可能） his great-great grandfather. How exciting that is！

On the Day of the Dead（亡灵节）， the most amazing thing happens： Miguel enters（进入） the Land of the Dead（亡灵之地）！No one in the real world can see him. There， Miguel finds his family members. They have died. He also makes friends with Hector， a skeleton（骷髅） who loves music， too.

Miguel meets Ernesto de la Cruz and plays music in front of him. But soon he finds that Ernesto de la Cruz is， in fact（事实上）， not a good person.

The sun is rising（升起）. Miguel needs to go back to the real world， or he will be stuck（被困住） in the Land of the Dead and lose（失去） his family. But time is running out（用尽）. What happens to Miguel？ Does he go back to his family？ You can find out in the movie Coco（《寻梦环游记》）. There are no ghosts（鬼魂） in the real world， but the movie is full of fun！

Miguel is a boy with big round（圆的） eyes. He always plays his guitar（吉他） and sings songs.

Dante is a dog. He is Miguels pet and also his good friend. When Miguel is in the Land of the Dead， Dante is the only living（活的） one who can see him.

Hector is a funny skeleton（骷髅）. Not many people remember him. This makes him sad. There is a special link （特殊关系） between Hector and Miguel. Can you guess？

He is a famous musician. He looks nice， but he also has a dark side（黑暗面）. Miguel dreams of becoming someone like him.
