Growing plants is so fun. Do you know how to grow a plant？Try growing sunflowers！ They grow very tall and have beautifulyellow flowers. You plant them in spring， and you get in the seedsof sunflowers in autumn.

种植植物很有趣。你知道如何种植植物吗？尝试种植向日葵吧！它们长得很高，开着漂亮的黄色花朵。你春天种下它们，秋天就能收获种子。

Plant a sunflower， you need two pots and some soil. Putsome soil in a small pot， make a hole 2 cm deep with your f inger.Then you can put one seed in the hole， put some soil over theseed. After that， you must put the small pot by a sunny window.

种植向日葵需要两个花盆和一些土。在一个小花盆里放一些土，用手指挖一个2 厘米深的洞。然后，你可以把一粒种子放进洞里，在种子上盖一些土。之后，你一定要把小花盆放在阳光充足的窗户边。

Remember to water it， but do not water it toomuch or too often. Just water it every one or twodays with just a little water.

记得给它浇水，但不要浇得太多或太频繁。只要每隔一两天浇一次少量的水就可以。

Leaves will start to grow after one or two weeks. When yoursunflower is about 10 cm tall， its ready to put it into a bigger pot.

一两周后，叶子就会开始生长。当你的向日葵长到大约10 厘米高时，你可以把它放进一个更大的盆里。

You can fill a big pot with soil and make a bigger hole.Carefully take the sunflower out of the small pot and put it in thehole. Then fill the hole with some soil and water it.

你可以先用土填满这个大盆，然后挖一个更大的洞。小心地把向日葵从小盆里取出，放进洞里。最后，用一些土把洞填满，并浇水。

As the sunflower gets taller and taller， you needto put a stick into the soil next to the stem. Then， tiethe stem to the stick with string.

随着向日葵越长越高，你需要在紧挨着茎旁边的土里插一根棍子，然后用绳子把茎绑在棍子上。

The flower starts to grow after abouteight weeks. After the yellow flowerturns brown， wait for the seeds to dry.When the seeds are brown， tap them out. You can eat them as a snack or in a salad. They are delicious indeed！

花苞大約在八周后开始生长。黄色的花朵变成棕色后，等待种子晾干。当种子变成褐色，你可以把它们剥出来。你可以把它们当零食吃或拌沙拉吃。它们的味道真的很美！
