More and more Chinese young people in cities are traveling with their pets forfun. Wei Ren， 29， often takes his dachshund1 along for traveling to countryside inHangzhou， Zhejiang Province.

越來越多的中国城市年轻人带着他们的宠物外出游玩。29 岁的魏仁（音）经常带着他的达克斯猎狗去浙江省杭州市的乡村旅行。

“Dogs enjoy the fields2 and clear rivers in the countryside and need to playwith other dogs as well. It feels very different to walk the dog in such a place youcan’t find in a big city，”says Wei.

“狗喜欢农村的田野和清澈的河流，也需要和其他狗一起玩。在一个大城市里找不到的地方遛狗，感觉很不一样。”魏仁说。

He says pet owners like to talk about their dog-raising experiences. It’sinteresting to hear people share their different life stories as well， and he can makemore friends. He stays overnight at a campsite3 and sometimes lives in a minsu，where the room is full of pet things and has a small doghouse.

他说宠物主人们喜欢谈论他们养狗的经历。听到人们分享他们不同的生活故事也很有趣，他还可以交到更多朋友。他在露营地过夜，有时住在民宿，民宿房间里堆满了宠物用品，还有一个小狗窝。

More young Chinese are traveling with their pets， and while there arerestrictions4 on keeping dogs as pets or traveling with them in cities， they want toenjoy themselves in places more friendly to both humans and pets.

有更多的中国年轻人带着他们的宠物旅行，虽然在城市里养宠物狗或带着狗旅行有规则限制，但他们希望能在对人类和宠物都更友好的地方玩得开心。

While it’s more common5 to travel with a dog on a road trip， some youngChinese would like to take their cats along. More hotels and minsu find out thepotential6 of the pet travel market and welcome these people with pets. Many hotelsare pet-friendly and some even have a large outdoor lawn7 for dogs to play on.Besides pet things in rooms， those who travel with their pets will get a check-in giftpackage for pets.
