Jack’s Letter to His Parents

My dear father and mother，

I am fine here in China. Don’t worry about me. Recently I have made some Chinesefriends and I get along with them. They teach me Chinese and I teach them English.I can speak a little Chinese now. Sometimes， we sing， dance and play games. Ourschool is not very big， but it is very beautiful. There are about 1，000 students in it.It’s near a river. Sometimes， we go swimming in it. We go to school five days aweek. At weekends， I go to the park with my Chinese friends. I have a good timehere. By the way， Li Hua， my best friend， taught me a Tang poet Night Thoughts last week， and I like it very much.

我在中国过得很好，不要为我担心。最近我结交了一些中国朋友，我和他们相处得很好。他们教我汉语，我教他们英语。现在我会讲一点中文了。有时，我们一起唱歌、跳舞、做游戏。我们的学校不是很大，但它很漂亮，大约有1000名学生。它位于一条小河附近。有时，我们会去那儿游泳。我们一周上五天學。周末，我和我的中国朋友去公园。我在这里过得很愉快。顺便告诉你们，上周我最好的朋友李华教了我一首唐诗《静夜思》，我非常喜欢。
