Jason and his father were going to the store by car. It had been anunusual day. The 1 was dark but there were few clouds. As they droveup the street， there started to be a rumbling sound heard across the groundsuddenly.

Jasons father immediately realized that a tornado was coming. 2stopped the car and told Jason to get out quickly. Jason and his father got outof the car and made their way to the 3 building. By this time the wind wasblowing harder. Debris （碎片） was falling all over the place. Jason couldntsee his 4 anymore. He also realized that he wasnt getting to the building5 enough. He was afraid the wind would 6 him up and throw him into theair.

7 he made his way towards the building， he noticed a field to his right.He could see an irrigation ditch （灌溉渠）. He scrambled （爬） to the ditchand 8 on the ground. More debris and things 9 overhead. His heart wasbeating hard， and he was 10 . He had never been in a tornado before.

Jason 15 a sigh of relief and sat down. He did have a story to tell！
