纪念日中邦交正常化50周年暖秋·东方插花艺术荟展在重庆举行

On October 27th, the Chongqing Flower Arrangement Association, together with Chinese and Japanese flower arrangement lovers, held the Warm Autumn——China-Japanese Flower Arrangement Art Exhibition in Chongqing to commemorate the 50thanniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations. Eight famous flower arrangement artists from China and Japan participated in this exhibition, showing the unique charm of oriental flower arrangement art with over 30 pieces of works.

At the event, the Consulate-General of Japan in Chongqing held the 2022 Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation Ceremony. Takada Mari, Consul-General of Japan in Chongqing, awarded the certificate and commemorative gift to Zheng Qiaoxue, President of the Chongqing Flower Arrangement Association.

10月27日，为纪念日中邦交正常化50周年，重庆市插花协会联合中日花道友好人士，在渝举办暖秋·东方插花艺术荟展，汇聚中日花道八大名流、30余件作品，展示东方插花艺术的独特魅力。

活动当天，日本驻重庆总领事馆在渝举行2022年度日本外务大臣表彰奖·转授仪式。日本驻重庆总领事高田真里为重庆市插花协会会长郑巧雪转授日本外务大臣表彰状及纪念品。

多年来，郑巧雪多次为重庆市花艺行业主办、协办各项赛事，连续举办重庆草月流展示会，协助日本驻重庆总领事馆开展各项文化体验活动，为中日花道文化的交流和发展作出了积极的贡献。

日本驻重庆总领事高田真里表示，值此日中邦交正常化50周年之际，郑会长获得本年度的外务大臣表彰更加值得庆贺。日中两国之间文化交流成为支撑两国关系的强有力支柱，而郑会长一直致力于将作为日本文化代表的插花艺术在中国特别是西南地区普及、普遍化，为日中关系的发展贡献良多。

Over the years, Zheng has hosted and co-organized various competitions for Chongqing floral art many times and has held the Chongqing Ikebana Sogetsu Exhibition.In addition, she also assisted the Consulate-General in Japan in carrying out various cultural experience events,making positive contributions to the exchange of ikebana culture (flower arrangement) between China and Japan.

Takada Mari, Consul-General of Japan in Chongqing,said that on the occasion of the 50thanniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations,Zheng’s award of the year was even more celebrated. The cultural exchange between China and Japan has a vital part of the bilateral relationship. Zheng has contributed to China-Japan relations through the promotion and popularization of Japanese flower arrangements—a distinctive element of Japanese culture—in China,especially in the southwest region.

“I choose sogetsu rather than other ikebana schools because of its free spirit that fit my personality. I just knew that ikebana sogetsu was beautiful from the beginning, but later I learned that it originated in China, which was very exciting for me.” Zheng Qiaoxue said. Honored with this award by the Japanese Foreign Minister, she is even more convinced in promoting ikebana, and hoped to contribute to strengthening cultural exchanges between China and Japan in the future.

“我在众多花道流派中选择了草月流，因其奔放、自由的特质和我的性格很贴切。起初只知道草月流很美，在学习中我了解到，它起源于中国，令我热血澎湃……”郑巧雪表示，获得日本外务大臣表彰奖，更加坚定了她推广花道的信念，希望今后继续为加强中日文化交流贡献力量。
