一把卷尺可以量出一個造车厂?是的,青岛的一个造车厂就是靠着一把卷尺开拓出了如今年销售额超千万元的疆土。袁德强,一位奔四的“80后”,英语专业出身的他,却凭借满腔热忱将亲手制造复古车的梦想照进了现实。
迈入复古车造车行业的原动力,是从一辆买来的家用电动车开始的。由于品牌质量不过关,这辆车总是出现故障,在不停的修理过程中,袁德强渐渐掌握了其中的技术原理,摸到了门道,心中也不免产生了一个造车的念头。行动力极强的他,立即在自家楼下开始着手制造第一辆电动车。第一辆车在网络平台发布后,居然很快就售出。
拿到第一桶金之后,袁德强开始着手制造“火柴盒”餐车,但是很快遭到了打击。由于餐车被同行大量复制,他几乎接不到订单。擅长英语的他,突发奇想到国外网络上寻找商机。机缘巧合下,他发现了大众T1被大量应用于国外的餐车。于是,袁德强决定冒险尝试,掏出5万元积蓄投入到造车中。没想到,当成品图片在网络上发布之后,这款车“一炮而红”,他成功了。
进入城阳区锦宏东路的工厂内,大众T1、雪铁龙YH、比亚乔、老福特皮卡一一映入眼帘……形形色色的复古车不一而足,均出自袁德强之手。问及如何制造这些车时,他只拿出了一把卷尺。做好一台复古车,要到网上查各种资料,因为知识产权保护年限为60年,所以网上的各种老爷车图纸资料基本也都是公开的。看图是第一步,将尺寸把握好才是最重要的,有条件测量真车做起来最轻松,可以同比例制造;假如没有真车,还有一个“绝招”就是购买高价精装模型等比例放大尺寸,然后依据测量进行制造。
在袁德强的工作间,摆放着大量手稿。每一张手稿上都密密麻麻地记录着各种数据,大到车体,小到每个装饰配件,无一不精确到极点。在品质追求上一丝不苟、细致入微的精神,很快让袁德强打开了市场,订单纷至沓来,遍布全国,甚至远销海外。
为了更好地研发新产品,袁德强高价购买了很多报废的老式复古车,包括老款宝马MINI、大众T1、老款解放卡车、大众甲壳虫、伏尔加轿车,用这些真车来进行同比例制造。经袁德强打造的复古车虽不能上路,却受到业界高度好评,大多应用于各类餐车、场景展示,甚至用于横店影视城的道具车。他的车不仅可以开,具备机动车的所有功能,而且声光电一应俱全,细节更是极其到位,这一切都源于他对复古车的独特情怀。

His dining car was reproduced in great numbers by his counterparts, so that he could hardly receive orders. Proficient in English, on a whim he decided to seek business opportunities on the foreign Internet. By chance, he found that Volkswagen T1 was widely applied to foreign dining cars. Thus, he took the plunge, and invested RMB 50,000 in vehicle making. Unexpectedly, after the finished vehicle picture was posted on the Internet, this vehicle “rose to sudden fame”. He succeeded.
Entering the factory at Jinhong East Road, Chengyang District, you could see Volkswagen T1, Citroen YH, Piaggio, old Ford pickups... These retro vehicles were all made by Yuan Deqiang. His vehicles are not only drivable, but also equipped with all functions of motor vehicles, with the addition of complete sound, light and electricity, as well as precise details. All these come from his unique feeling for retro vehicles.
