Chinese Foreign Minister Holds Discussion with Singaporean Counterpart

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in Beijing on February 4 to further deepen all-around cooperation between the two sides.

Wang said China appreciated Singapores understanding and supporting the countrys process of reform and opening-up， and constantly opening new areas of cooperation with China. He vowed China would make joint efforts with Singapore to enhance bilateral relations and achieve common development and prosperity at a higher level.

Balakrishnan said Singapore welcomed China to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and Digital Economy Partnership Agreement.
