2022 Soong Ching Ling International Forum on Children’s Development Opened in Beijing

On November 21st, the 2022 Soong Ching Ling International Forum on Children’s Development was held in China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Centre for Young People. This forum was co-hosted by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and China Welfare Institute, co-organised by China Federation of Internet Societies, Capital Normal University and China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Centre for Young People, and held under the auspices of China Education Association for International Exchange. Focused on the theme of “Global Development Initiative: Advancing Children’s Development and Benefits to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”, this forum held discussions on children education, health,social environment and international exchanges to implement the Global Development Initiative,promote the healthy growth of teenagers from China and other countries and further cultural exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign youth. Jing Dunquan, Vice-Chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Ren Xianliang, Vice-Chairman of the Social Development Affairs Committee of National People’s Congress, Secretary-General of the World Internet Conference and President of China Federation of Internet Societies, Liu Limin, former Vice-Minister of Education and President of China Education Association for International Exchange and Meng Fanhua, Secretary of the CPC Capital Normal University Committee attended the forum and delivered speeches. Kim Han Kyu, President of the 21st Century ROK-China Exchange Association and Nikki Collins, CEO of the British International Education Association extended their congratulations to the forum via video. Guests, experts and scholars from China, Japan, US, UK, France and other countries participated in the opening ceremony and seminars.
