中国重庆—韩国京畿道线上围棋友谊赛成功举行

7月28日,中國重庆—韩国京畿道线上围棋友谊赛在外事大楼成功举行。此次友谊赛由重庆市人民对外友好协会、京畿道政府体育课(韩国)、京畿道政府外交通商课(韩国)共同主办,由重庆市渝北区围棋协会、京畿道围棋协会(韩国)、重庆坎济围棋俱乐部承办。
赛前,市人民对外友好协会副会长王广成致辞,并为选手加油鼓气。他表示,国之交在于民相亲,民相亲在于心相通,在新冠肺炎疫情依然肆虐,国际旅行受限,人员往来不便形势下,举办线上围棋友谊赛可以加强双方人文交流,用共通的文化传递两个城市间相通的美好情谊。“我相信疫情阻挡不了重庆与京畿道的友情,衷心希望新冠肺炎疫情得到控制之后,双方友好感情进一步加深,各领域交往合作更加活跃。”
此次友谊赛采取网络对弈的形式,两地各派出15名业余棋手,分别组成高水平业余棋手的对弈阵容,上演了一场激烈角逐。此次参赛选手年龄最大的65岁,年龄最小的仅10岁。本次友谊赛以中韩文化交流为契机,在友谊第一、比赛第二的原则下,双方棋手切磋了棋艺、交流了经验,增进了重庆和京畿道两地之间的友谊,为今后两地开展线下体育交流与合作、建立长期交流机制奠定了基础。

On July 28, the friendly online go game between Chongqing, China and Gyeonggi Province, South Korea was successfully held at the Foreign Affairs Building. The friendly game was co-organized by the Chongqing Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Sports Division of Gyeonggi Provincial Government (South Korea), and Foreign Affairs and Trade Division of Gyeonggi Provincial Government (South Korea) and undertaken by Chongqing Yubei Go Association, GABA (Gyeonggido Amateur Baduk Association) (South Korea) and Chongqing Kanji Go Club.
Before the game, Wang Guangcheng, vice president of the Chongqing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, delivered a speech and cheered for the players. He said that the key to sound relations between states lies in amity between the peoples, and closeness between the peoples holds the key to building sound state-to-state relations. Under the context of raging COVID-19 pandemic, restricted international travel and hindered personnel exchanges, holding an online friendly go game can strengthen the cultural exchanges between the two sides and convey the good will between the two cities with culture commonality. "I believe that the epidemic cannot stop the friendship between Chongqing and Gyeonggi Province. I sincerely hope that after COVID-19 is brought under control, the friendship between the two parties will be further deepened and exchanges and cooperation in various fields will be more active."
The friendly game took on-line form. Each of the two places sent 15 amateur players to form a lineup of high-level amateur players, staging a fierce competition. The oldest contestant is 65 years old and the youngest is only 10 years old. This friendly game took the opportunity of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea. Under the principle of friendship first and competition second, the players of both sides learned go skills from each other and exchanged experience, enhancing the friendship between Chongqing and Gyeonggi Province, and laying the foundation for the development of offline sports exchanges and cooperation between the two places and the establishment of a long-term exchange mechanism in the future.
Persons in charge of the Municipal Friendship Association Office and the Asian Division of the Municipal Governments Foreign Affairs Office participated in the event.
