My Favourite Trip

Traveling can make people relaxed. I love traveling very much and I often travel at weekends.Of all my trips, I think the trip to Suzhou was the most unforgettable experience.

That was a Saturday morning. In a big supermarket, I met an American boy. He had trouble in shopping because he couldn’t speak Chinese. He looked worried, as the shop assistant did not understand his English and he could not understand the shop assistant’s Chinese. Even though I could speak just a little English, I still would like to help the American boy in trouble. I went up to the boy and asked, “May I help you?” He looked very excited immediately and told me that he wanted to buy a football but the shop assistant could not understand him. Then, I asked the shop assistant to show him some footballs.The American boy picked one of them. However, it was difficult for me to help them when they talked about the price of the football, as my mental calculation is not so good.

Suddenly, I had a good idea. I asked the shop assistant to get me a calculator. Then, the boy paid for the football and got changes.Since then, the American boy and I became good friends. When we are free, we would chat on WeChat in English. Sometimes, we send emails to each other.

What a wonderful trip!
