Do you know Earth Hour? It usually falls on the last weekend of March every year. On that day, many families, malls and business buildings will turn off the lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm of the local time. Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007. Many homes and businesses kept their lights off for one hour. Now Earth Hour has become a worldwide event. It aims to tell us to care for our home, the earth.
Many famous buildings and homes in Chinese cities join the activity at 8:30 pm in March. They turned off the lights for Earth Hour.
Earth Hour is not only a message of hope but also a message of action. It's our duty to save the earth. Everyone can make a difference.
