情态动词Can

情态动词can本身有一定的词义，用来表示语气，但是不能单独作谓语，需要与动词原形一同构成谓语，表示对某一动作或状态的看法或主观设想，没有人称和数的变化。

【基本用法】

1. 表示某种能力，意为“会、能”，通常指脑力或体力方面的能力。如：

I can play the guitar.  我会弹吉他。

Jill can swim but I cant. 吉尔会游泳，但我不会。

2. 表示“可以”，通常用于日常交流中，意為请求许可做某事。如：

Can I open the window？ 我能开窗吗？

Can I have a glass of milk？ 我能喝一杯牛奶吗？

3. 表示“可能”，常用于否定句或疑问句中，用来表示某种可能性。如：

Can you speak Chinese？ 你能说中文吗？

Can she come here today？ 她今天能来这里吗？

【基本句型】

1. 肯定句型

主语+can +动词原形+其他成分。如：

I can play the piano. 我会弹钢琴。

They can tell you stories， and you can make friends there. 他们会给你讲故事，你能在那里交朋友。

2. 否定句型

主语+can not / cant +动词原形+其他成分。如：

We cant go to the park because of the bad weather.  由于糟糕的天气我们不能去公园。

I cant swim. 我不会游泳。

3. 一般疑问句句型

Can+主语+动词原形+其他？ 如：

Can I wear my new skirt today？ 今天我能穿我的新短裙吗？

Can you play basketball？ 你会打篮球吗？

肯定回答：Yes， I can.

否定回答： No， I cant.

拓展：情态动词还有may， should， must， need， ought to， will等。
