基于WA的数学建模与实验融入概率统计课程的应用研究

摘要:
面向學生所学专业,将数学建模与数学实验引入概率论与数理统计课程,有助于激发学生对专业的热爱和对知识学习的重视,对于培养学生的数学应用能力更是意义重大。探讨了一款新型计算知识搜索引擎Wolfram Alpha应用于数学实验教学的优势,展示了借助于Wolfram Alpha进行对接专业的概率统计建模与实验教学应用案例。实践证明,该项教学改革对于不具备条件开展面向各专业的大规模数学实验教学的地方院校来说,是几乎零成本的解决方案。

Abstract:
For the major of students, introducing mathematical modeling and mathematical experiment into the course of probability theory and mathematical statistics is helpful to inspire students to love their profession and the knowledge learnt. It is of great significance to cultivate students' ability of mathematical application. This paper discusses the advantages of Wolfram Alpha, a new computational knowledge search engine, in mathematical experiment teaching, and shows the application cases of probability and statistics modeling and experiment teaching in the docking specialty with Wolfram Alpha. It has been proved that the teaching reform is an almost zerocost solution for the local colleges and universities which do not have the conditions to carry out largescale mathematics experiment teaching for all majors.
