歌

克里斯蒂娜·吉奥尔吉娜·罗赛蒂（1830—1894）是19世纪英国杰出的女诗人。她的名作《歌》（原诗名When I Am Dead， My Dearest）发表在诗集《魔鬼集市和其他诗歌》（Goblin Market and Other Poems）里。我国诗人徐志摩将它译成中文后，罗大佑根据该译文谱了曲，也就是纵贯线乐队演唱的《歌》。

When I am dead， my dearest，

Sing no sad songs for me;

Plant thou no roses at my head，

Nor shady cypress tree：

Be the green grass above me

With showers and dewdrops wet;

And if thou wilt， remember，

And if thou wilt， forget.

I shall not see the shadows，

I shall not feel the rain;
