（3）no one只用于指人，通常后面不加of。

辨析：a bit和a little

辨析：instead of和instead

（1）作为短语介词，instead of 后面常跟名词、代词和动名词。

instead常用在句末，也可用在句首，这时多用逗号与句子的主体部分隔开。

I didnt have a pen， so I used a pencil instead.

基本语法

1. unless引导条件状语从句

unless是连词，意为“除非;如果不”，含有否定意义，相当于if... not。

She will keep on singing unless she is told to stop.

=She will keep on singing if she is not told to stop.

她会一直唱下去，除非有人叫她停止。

注意：

（1）unless引导条件状语从句时，如果主句是一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来。

（2）unless引导的条件状语从句也可以用or （否则） 来做同义句转换。

Unless you listen carefully， you wont know the answer.

=You should listen carefully， or you wont know the answer. 除非你仔細听，否则你不会知道答案。

2. as soon as 引导时间状语从句

as soon as是连词词组，意为“―……就……”。

As soon as he heard the news， he jumped with joy.

注意：as soon as引导条件状语从句时，如果主句是一般将来时，从句用一般现在时表将来。

3. so... that 引导结果状语从句

so... that表示“如此……以至于……”，常见结构为：
