China’s cotton exports in December 2019 increased by 5.28% year-on-year

According to the latest statistics, in December 2019, China imported 22 million meters of cotton cloth, an increase of 4.46% month-on-month, and a decrease of 10.80% year-on-year; cotton cloth exports of 658 million meters, an increase of 5.28% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 10.21%; the net export volume was 636 million meters, a monthon-month increase of 5.317.74% and a year-on-year increase of 11.12%.
From January to December 2019, Chinas cumulative import of cotton cloth was 279 million meters, a year-on-year decrease of 21.42%; cumulative exports were 7.892 billion meters, a year-on-year decrease of 6.28%.
In 2019/20, Chinas cumulative imports of cotton cloth were 85 million meters, a year-on-year decrease of 19.37%; cumulative exports were 2.618 billion meters, a year-on-year decrease of 2.57%.
