Here comes Christmas！ It is on 25th December. It is the biggest holiday in most western（西方的） countries， just like the Spring Festival in China. Families and friends get together and have fun.

Santa Clauss hometown圣诞老人的故乡

Santa Claus has a long white beard（胡须）. Where is Santas hometown？ There are lots of stories. One story said hes from Rovaniemi（罗瓦涅米），a town in Finland（芬兰）. There is a Santa Claus village in the town.

Christmas tree闪亮亮的圣诞树

The Christmas tree is a big part of the holiday. There are lights（灯）and gifts in the tree. Swedish（瑞典的） people put animal toys on trees. The toys are made of straw（稻草）。They think it will bring a good harvest（大丰收）。

Candy cane红白拐杖糖

Candy cane（拐杖）is a kind of Christmas candy. It is like a small walking cane（步行手杖）。Now it comes in different flavors（口味）and colours.

Nine reindeers九只馴鹿

Santa has nine reindeers. They are good helpers（ 帮手）. On Christmas Eve（前夜），they pull（拉）Santas sleigh（雪橇）. They help him to bring gifts to kids in the world. Each reindeer has a name. The one with a red nose is Rudolph.

A big dinner圣诞大餐

People have Christmas dinner. Its a feast（盛宴）. There is often turkey，ham（火腿）and salmon（三文鱼）. And Christmas pudding（布丁）is a must（不可缺少的东西）. Its a pudding full of raisins（葡萄干）.

Hot Christmas南半球的夏日圣诞节

Christmas in Australia is very hot. The country is in the southern hemisphere（南半球）.So Christmas is in summer there. It feels different（与众不同的）.
