The failure condition of the control valve is one of the working conditionsfor the calculation of the discharge amount of safety valve, which is related to the safe operation of the plant. However, the current domestic relevant specifications and manuals rarely mention its specific calculation method. This paper focuses on the calculation method and process flow of the relief valve discharge amount when the liquid control valve fails, and analyzes the factors that need to be considered in the iterative process of the maximum throughput of the control valve. According to the engineering design experience, combined with the actual piping system where the control valve is located, a detailed calculation example is given to facilitate the designer to calculate the safety valve discharge amount more accurately and provide a basis for subsequent safety valve selection.

This paper describes the principle of rapid assessment of magnetic stress for gas pipeline settlement. Based on the metal magnetic memory effect and inverse magnetostriction effect, the stress distribution of the pipeline body is analyzed by detecting the additional weak magnetic field generated by the stress concentration of the buried pipeline. Aiming at the problem of pipeline settlement in a natural gas station, the local pipeline magnetic stress detection work is carried out to evaluate the stress concentration state of the pipeline, which provides an experience reference for the application of magnetic stress technology in the rapid assessment of pipeline settlement.

In the vacuum cooling crystallization process, the cooling capacity is an important technical parameter. For a certain composition solution, the greater the evaporation capacity, the greater the heat of water vaporization, the greater the vacuum cooling capacity, and the greater the production capacity. The main factors affecting the cooling capacity are: extraction rate, initial temperature of solution, end temperature of solution, initial temperature of steam, end temperature of steam, steam density and latent heat of evaporation. This paper studies and discusses the calculation method of cooling capacity in the process of vacuum cooling crystallization.

Combined with #3 and #4 ultra-supercritical units (2*1050MW) that have been put into operation in a power plant, this paper analyzes the structure and installation method of the secondary air volume measurement device, introduces the measurement principles and characteristics of two different air volume devices, and targets a power plant for the problem of inaccurate air supply volume measurement, several consultations and investigations of the same type of units are conducted to finally determine the optimal modification scheme. During the shutdown of #3 Unit, the secondary air volume device has a better online measurement effect after the modification and model change. The effect of the measurement is not affected by the load lift up and down test and the extension of its purge cycle observation, which can completely meet the accurate measurement of air volume under different working conditions, and the modification effect is good.
