Open and Innovative AI Platforms

Automated driving， city brains， medical imaging， intelligent voice and intelligent vision platforms are the five open and innovative artificial intelligence （AI） platforms under construction in China based on the technologies of Baidu， Aliyun， Tencent， iFly Tek and SenseTime Group， respectively. At the Global AI Product Application Exposition opened on May 9， 2019， the five platforms were released， demonstrating the latest achievements in the application of AI products in China.

Previously， the New-generation Artifi cial Intelligence Development Plan issued by the State Council of China revealed the guiding principles， strategic goals， key tasks and supporting measures to build Chinas first-mover advantage in AI development and accelerate the pace to build China into an innovative country and global science and technology power. By the end of 2018， more than 20 provinces in China had issued more than 30 special AI support policies.
