● 李波调研市政府外办工作
11月18日,市政府副市长李波到市政府外办调研,参观外事大楼,实地察看外事服务大厅现场办公情况,了解因公出国(境)办理及审批等工作,并在参观结束后,在外事大楼主持召开了专题调研座谈会。
李波在会上强调,外事干部要坚持一手抓党建、一手抓业务,进一步强化使命感和责任感,加强统筹谋划,助力全市开放发展;要深入贯彻落实习近平外交思想,统筹国内國际两个大局,围绕构建人类命运共同体目标,扎实做好地方外事工作,不断扩大国际朋友圈;要切实讲好重庆故事,加强谋划和宣介工作,打造重庆国际形象。

● 李谦会见菲律宾驻重庆总领事睿克山
11月14日,市政府外办主任李谦会见了即将离任的菲律宾驻重庆总领事睿克山一行。
李谦对睿克山总领事履任以来为促进中菲友好,加强重庆与菲律宾在高层互访、经贸旅游、文化教育等领域交流所作出的突出贡献表示钦佩和感谢。他希望睿克山先生回国后继续关心重庆的发展,为推动中菲友好、推动重庆与菲律宾的交流合作发挥作用,贡献力量。
睿克山表示,自上任以来,重庆市政府外办和菲律宾驻重庆总领事馆携手合作,共同推动双方各领域交流合作迈上了新的台阶。他祝愿重庆以及中国西南地区取得更大的发展,祝菲中世代友好,祝重庆人民生活幸福。
陪同睿克山总领事参加离任拜会的还有菲律宾驻重庆总领事馆副领事孙亚仁等主要领事官员。市政府外办领事处、亚洲处有关人员参加会见。
● 重庆代表团参加日本水户市建市130周年纪念大会
11月4日,水户市举行建市130周年纪念大会。应日本水户市市长的邀请,市政府外办副主任王雯率重庆市友好交流团出席了此次大会。
水户市是日本最早设立市的31个城市之一。水户的杰出代表以及来自茨城县各界知名代表出席了此次大会。受重庆市政府的委托,王雯副主任作为友城的代表出席了纪念大会,表达了诚挚的祝福。
2000年水户市与我市结为友好交流关系城市以来,两市在广泛的领域展开了活跃的交流,友好关系得到了长足发展,明年将迎来两市结好20周年纪念。纪念大会后,王雯副主任拜会了水户市市长和相关部门,并对明年系列交流活动的细节进行了沟通。双方表示将携手努力,把两市结好20周年纪念活动办好,为两市关系的进一步发展作出贡献。
● 荷兰Scholtes and Janssens 钢琴二重奏音乐会在渝举行
11月12日,由荷兰驻重庆总领事馆和中国银行重庆市分行共同举办的Scholtes and Janssens 钢琴二重奏音乐会在国泰大剧院举行。
音乐会由荷兰钢琴家Lestari Scholtes and Gwylim Janssens双人组合共同演绎,该组合被认为是当今最杰出的钢琴二人组之一,演出足迹遍及全球近30个国家。音乐会上,二人弹奏的绝妙音色、不可思议的技巧和激情四射的感染力令现场掌声不断,为重庆市民带来了一场高规格、高水准的音乐盛宴,也为深化重庆与荷兰文化艺术交流注入了新的动力。
市政府外办副主任唐文及领事处人员,荷兰驻重庆副总领事宋贺焱、菲律宾驻重庆总领事睿克山、丹麦驻重庆总领事晏森、乌拉圭驻重庆副总领事琪娜,以及匈牙利、英国、意大利、埃塞俄比亚等国驻重庆总领事馆代表,重庆市各相关单位代表出席了音乐会。
● 市外国机构服务处与乌拉圭驻重庆总领事馆 举行委派中方雇员服务签约仪式
11月19日,市外国机构服务处与乌拉圭驻重庆总领事馆在市外事大楼举行“委托派遣中方雇员服务合同”签约仪式。
签约仪式前,市政府外办副主任张娅茜会见了乌拉圭驻重庆副总领事琪娜一行。张娅茜赞赏琪娜履任以来为乌拉圭驻重庆总领馆开馆所做的筹备工作,并表示市政府外办将会为双方拓宽合作领域牵线搭桥。琪娜称,虽然到任仅1个月,但对重庆与乌拉圭未来发展充满信心。目前总领馆选址装修、人员配备、开设账户等相关工作正在稳步推进,争取尽快开馆。双方还就具体开馆时间、入驻仪式等相关细节进行了沟通。
根据签约内容,市外国机构服务处将为乌拉圭驻重庆总领馆提供中方雇员的选聘、人事管理、费用代缴、教育培训等服务。市外国机构服务处将发挥专业优势,竭尽所能为包括乌拉圭驻重庆总领馆在内的所有驻渝外国机构提供热忱、优质、高效的人力资源及相关配套服务。
Li Bo Investigates Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office
On November 18, Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government Li Bo went to the foreign affairs office of the municipal government for investigation. He visited the foreign affairs building, inspected the foreign affairs service hall, and learned about how the overseas business trips of public servants are approved. After the visit, he hosted a meeting in the foreign affairs building.
Li Bo stressed at the meeting that foreign affairs cadres should stick to party building and business, further strengthen their sense of mission and responsibility, strengthen overall planning, and help the city to open up and develop; thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping's diplomatic thoughts, coordinate the domestic and international situations, focus on the goal of building a community of shared future for all humankind, do a solid job in local foreign affairs, and constantly expand the circle of international friends; to tell Chongqing stories well, strengthen planning and publicity work, and create Chongqing's international image.

Li Qian Meets with Philippine Consul General in Chongqing Crescente R. Relacion
On November 14, Director General of Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office Qian Li met with the Philippine Consul General in Chongqing, Mr. Crescente R. Relacion who is about to leave the post.
Li Qian expressed admiration and gratitude to Consul General Crescente R. Relacion for his outstanding contribution to promoting Sino-Philippine friendship and strengthening exchanges between Chongqing and the Philippines in the fields of high-level visits, economic and trade tourism, culture and education. He hoped that after returning to the Philippines, Mr. Crescente R. Relacion would continue to care about the development of Chongqing and contribute to the promotion of China-Philippines friendship and the exchange and cooperation between Chongqing and the Philippines.
Mr. Crescente R. Relacion said that since taking office, Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing have worked together to promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in various fields to a new level. He wished Chongqing and southwest China greater development, long-lasting friendship between the Philippines and China for generations, and happiness for Chongqing people.
Consul General Crescente R. Relacion was accompanied by Adrian G.miras, Deputy Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing, and other consular officials. Relevant personnel from the Consular Division and the Asian Affairs Division of the municipal foreign affairs office attended the meeting.
Mito Held Conference Celebrating the 130th Anniversary
On November 4, the Japanese City Mito celebrated the 130th anniversary of its founding. At the invitation of the mayor of Mito, Wang Wen, Deputy Director General of Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office led a delegation to attend the celebration conference.
Mito is one of the 31 cities firstly-built in Japan. Outstanding representatives of the city and well-known representatives from all walks of life in ibaraki prefecture attended the conference. Entrusted by Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Deputy Director General Wang Wen attended the commemorative meeting as a representative of Chongqing and expressed her sincere wishes.
Since Mito and Chongqing became cities of friendly exchanges in 2000, the two cities have carried out active exchanges in a wide range of fields, and the friendly relations have developed by leaps and bounds. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the friendly ties of the two cities. After the commemorative meeting, Deputy Director General Wang Wen met with the Mayor of Mito city and relevant departments and communicated the details of next year's series of exchange activities. The two sides said that they would work together to do a good job in celebrating the 20th anniversary and make contributions to the further development of the relations between the two cities.
The Scholtes & Janssens Piano Duo Performed in Chongqing
On November 12, the Scholtes and Janssens Piano Duo concert, jointly organized by Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chongqing and Bank of China Chongqing Branch, was held at Guotai Grand Theater.
The concert was jointly performed by Dutch pianists Lestari Scholtes and Gwy Lim Janssens. They are considered to be one of the most outstanding contemporary piano duo and has performed in nearly 30 countries. At the concert, the wonderful timbre, incredible skills and passionate appeal played by the two musicians triggered incessant applause on the scene, bringing Chongqing citizens a high-standard and high-level music feast and injecting new impetus into deepening the cultural and artistic exchanges between Chongqing and the Netherlands.

On November 19, Chongqing Foreign Agency Service Department and the Consulate General of Uruguay in Chongqing held a signing ceremony for the "Service Contract for Commissioning Chinese Employees" in the Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office building.
Before the signing ceremony, Zhang Yaqian, Deputy Director General of the Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with Agustina Casavalle, Deputy Consul General of Uruguay in Chongqing. Zhang Yaqian appreciated the preparatory work done by Agustina Casavalle for the opening of the consulate general since taking office, and said that Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office would help the two sides to broaden the scope of cooperation. Agustina Casavalle said that although she has been in office for only one month, she is full of confidence in the future development of Chongqing and Uruguay. At present, the relevant work of the consulate general, such as site selection and renovation, staffing, and opening of accounts, is progressing steadily, with a view to open the consulate as soon as possible. The two sides also communicated on the specific opening time, the entry ceremony and other relevant details.
According to the contract, Chongqing Foreign Agency Service Department will provide services such as selection and appointment of Chinese employees, personnel management, payment of expenses, education and training for the Consulate General of Uruguay in Chongqing. The Department will give full play to its professional advantages and do its best to provide enthusiastic, high-quality and efficient human resources and related supporting services to all foreign institutions in Chongqing apart from the Consulate General of Uruguay.
