Cameroon--The First(China) Building Materials and Agriculture Exhibition to be held in November

On 11 April， the Promotion Conference of Cameroon--The First （China） Building Materials and Agriculture Exhibition was held in Beijing. The exhibition is planned to be held from 7 to 9 November 2019， coorganized by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals， Minerals & Chemicals Importers& Exporters， Beijing Bridge International Exhibition Co， Ltd and several partners.

The exhibition mainly focuses on Cameroons most demanded products agriculture and building materials. The main exhibits include： building materials and furniture； energy-saving and environmentally friendly products； agricultural power equipment， agricultural generators； grain processing machinery， grain storage equipment； pesticides， veterinary drugs ， vaccines and animal health products； tea， tea sets， refreshments and storage and preservation equipment； food ingredients； food， beverage and packaging production equipment and technology； fishery equipment /fishery technology； energy conservation and environmental protection products.

Cameroon is known as the “Central African Granary”， and agriculture and animal husbandry are the main pillars of the national economy. During the period of 2012-2015， the annual growth rate of agriculture in Cameroon was about 3.6%， averagely accounting for a 20.9% of GDP. At present， there is a huge demand for agricultural products. According to the Customs statistics of some Chinese exports to Cameroon in 2017， agricultural products such as herbicides and pesticides have grown steadily， and local market opportunities are worth further exploring.
