Lawson can do everything.He moves from room to room,teaching a class or organizing a lesson plan for a short-term group or giving students special help with math.He visits homes with the school social worker.He directs traffic in the parking lot.He once used the washing machine in his office to clean the coats of an entire class so he wouldn'tembarrassthe one kid whose coat was dirty.

Despiteit all or maybe because of it,he voices a view made by every teacher with whom a USA TODAY network team spent the day:He loves his job.“I wouldn't like to go anywhere else.When you help the kid that really wants to learn,when the kid says,‘I got it,’that's something you take with in the rest of your life.”

whose coat was dirty是由关系代词whose引导的定语从句,修饰先行词kid。whose引导定语从句时,可以指代人或者物,在从句中作定语,所以whose必须接名词,表示所属关系。
