泰州(中国)科学发展观展示中心位于泰州五巷传统街区南面,处在旧与新、小肌理与大尺度、历史街区与城市道路之间,资源丰富同时情况复杂,意义重大同时极具挑战。项目基地设计确立了“和谐与发展”的总体设计定位,整体空间序列设计以保留建筑为重心展开布局谋篇,因时就地、自东向西分为稻河头城市广场、展示中心主题建筑群和保留建筑展示区三部分,建立大气整体、主轴统领、重点突出的总体格局,形成主题明确、起承转合、一气呵成的建筑叙事篇章,呈现既蕴含传统气质又展示现代思维的“泰州新建筑”品相。

总体设计整合基地资源,改善民生条件,全面提升泰州的城市价值。□

Taizhou Folk Culture Exhibition Centre is located on the south of Taizhou Wu Xiang traditional blocks, which is between the old and new,the small texture and large scale, the historic streets and urban roads. With abundant natural resources and complex situations, the Centre is of great significance as well as the challenge. The project site design follows the orientation of "Harmony and Development". The overall design of the spatial sequence focuses on and is developed from the conserved buildings and the exhibition area of the conserved buildings. The aim is to create a generous and holistic overall pattern that is led by the main axis and highlights the key components and further establish the architectural narratives with a clearlydefined theme, as well as the natural and smooth transition to present the quality image of "New Taizhou Architecture" of traditional temperament and modern mindset.

The design solution integrates the site assets,improves the people's living conditions and upgrades the values of Taizhou City from all aspects.□
