A spotted seal is released into the sea in Dalian， northeast Chinas Liaoning Province， on May 10.
Thirty-seven spotted seals， a rare species， were released into the sea that day in the coastal city. A total of 61 spotted seal cubs rescued from poachers in February were reared by animal experts and veterinarians in local aquariums and the Liaoning Ocean and Fisheries Science Research Institute， and then released in April and May.
