Teaching Title:Unit 3 My weekend plan.
Teaching Contents:Part A Let’s learn.
Students’Level:Primary Grade six.
Three-Dimensional Teaching Aims:
A.Know ledge aims:
1.Studentsareable to master thenew words:takea trip,see a film,go to the supermarket,visit my grandparents,this morning,thisafternoon,thisevening,tonight,tomorrow,nextweek.
2.Students could understand and speak the new sentence:“What are you going to do?
Iam going to……”
3.Student can make sentences using the function sentence and phrases.
4.All students can understand the dialogue and some can retell it.
B.Ability aims:
1.Students could use theexpressionsand words they learnt in a real situation to describe their plan in thenear future.
2.Students’listening and speaking ability could be enhanced.
C.Moral aim:
1.Enhance students’consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.
2.Studentsare led to arouse interests of learning English.
3.Get the students know how to make a plan of their life and cherish today.
Teaching Times:40 m inutes.
Teaching Methods:Task-based approach、Cooperative learning、TPR teaching methods.
Teaching Aids:multi-media computer and other normal teaching tools,word cards.
Teaching Stages:
Step 1.Warm ing up and lead in.
1.Sing a“hello”song to warm up the class and have a TPR follow ing the song.
2.Free talk about what day it is and review the words of weekend.Show some pictures to students,let them talk about the pictures and lead in the phrases“this week” and“next week”.
Questions:
(1)What day is it today?
(2)What day is it tomorrow/the day after tomorrow?
Step 2:Presentation.
Task1.Create a situation.
A fter the leading-in of“this week”,students are lead to know“this morning/afternoon/evening”and“tonight”.Get students to read“tonight”for several times to catch it.
Task2.Present new phrases.
Show pictures of new phrases and sentence pattern on the ppt oneby one,then lead Ss to makesentenceusing them.W rite the sentence pattern and new phraseson the blackboard and get Ss to spell them.Atthesame time,getstudents to makesentence using the phraseson the PPT.
Question:
(1)Class,can you guess what am Igoing to do this afternoon?
(2)Where are they? What’s this?
Task3.Games(TPR).
Game1:Students read the word on the card and clap it.
Game2:Teacher read the word loudly and students read at their low voice in a opposite tune.
Game3:Students read the word alone or in groups or together.
Step 3:Practice.
Play somegames to practice thenew phrases and sentence pattern.
Activity 1.Listen and do.
Let some students to stand facing the blackboard on the platform,teacher speak in no voice,students say it out loudly,and then,the student listen and stick theword card on theblackboard.
Activity 2.What’sm issing?
Activity 3.Who can answer first?
Students translate the phrases into English quickly.
Activity 4.Pair work.
Review somephrases they have learnt,then,getstudents to make a dialogue w ith his deskmate using the new phrases and sentence pattern and show it.And let them have a competition.
Step 4:Production.
Present the use of“be going to”and make students understand it.
Activity 1.Listen and answer.
Letstudents to listen to thedialogueon page25 and then answer the question.
Question:What is Chen Jiegoing to do today?
Activity 2.Show the pictures of teacher and some students to present the sentence pattern“What is she/he going to do?She/He is going to do……”
Activity 3.Put the word cards in order.
Studentsputtheword cardsinorder and show them in front of thewhole class.
Step 5:Consolidation.
Giveaway thehomework sheet to enhancewhat they have learnt this class.
Activity 1.Listen and number.
Activity 2.Look at the picturesand make a dialogue.
Activity 3.Check the answer of homework sheet.
Step 6:Summary.
Students summarize and teacher give some supplements and enhance the moral aim.
Don’t put off till tomorrow what should be done today.今日事今日毕。

Step 7:Homework.
Use“What are you going to do? I am going to……”to make 4 dialogues.
