Step 1.Warm-up and lead in.(略)

Step 2.New content.

1.Learn new words(创设教师在超市买东西的情境,引出新单词的教学)。

T:Look,it is sunny today.Let’s go to the supermarket.I think we need a shopping bag.

T:This is a shopping bag.(实物教授单词)

T:What’s this?(指着教师手里的购物袋)

Ss:It’s a bag.

请一位会读的同学领读bag,学生多种方式读单词,教师板书单词。

(S1扮演超市售货员)

T:Look,a saleswoman is coming.

S1:Welcome to our supermarket.May I help you?

T:Yes,please.

S1:Some apples?

T:No,thanks.

S1:Some oranges?

T:No,thanks.I want to buy some candy.

S1:OK,here you are.

T:Candy.All students,please read after me.Candy.

Ss:Candy.(板书并领读candy,学生用多种方式读单词)

T:Do you like candy?

Ss:Yes,I do.

T:I also want to buy some tomatoes.

S1:OK,here you are.How many do you want?

T:Two tomatoes.

T:My favourite vegetable is tomato.(分音节带读to-ma-to)

Ss:Tomato.(以手心手背的方式练读单词,再把单词卡片贴到黑板上)

T:What are these?

Ss:These are tomatoes.(提示复数 +es )

T:Let’sbuysometomatoes.Read.

Ss:Let’sbuysometomatoes.

T:Boys and girls,look at the screen carefully, say out what you see.(教师点击屏幕魔幻呈现新单词)

Ss:Potato.

T:What is a potato?

Ss:土豆。

T:Follow me.Potato.(分音节带读Po-ta-to)

S:Potato.(以“打枪”的方式练读单词 ,然后教师把单词卡片贴到黑板上)

T:What are they?

S:These are potatoes.(提示复数+es)

T:Let’s buy some potatoes.带读句子。

T:Many foods are made from potatoes.

For example:French fries/potato chips.

设计意图:在教师和“售货员”表演的购物对话中呈现新单词,让学生感觉到英语学习与其生活密切相关,激发其求知欲。通过一个小魔术,将单词 tomato变成了potato,激发了学生的学习兴趣,学生更愿意参与到学习中来,也利于他们后期单词的背诵和记忆。

2.Let’s play.

教师在屏幕上出示图片,学生造句。

S2:This is a potato.These are potatoes.

S3:I like potato chips.

S4:...

...

3.Let’s chant.

PPT播放音乐节奏,师生拍手吟唱。

tomato,tomatoes,Let’s buy some tomatoes.

potato,potatoes,Let’sbuy some potatoes.

candy, candy, Let’s buy some candy.

设计意图:游戏和Chant不仅调动了学生的学习积极性,也活跃了课堂气氛,使学生在愉快的氛围中学习单词和句型,将学生带入英语学习的乐园。

Step 3.Practice.

T:Jenny,DannyandMrs.Smith are atthe supermarket,too.

1.Let’s listen.

T:First,listen and fill in the blanks.

(1) What does Jenny like?

(2) What does Danny like?

(3) Is candy good for your teeth?

(Discuss in groups.)

T:Will they buy some candy?

S5:No.

T:Why?

S6:Candy isn’tgood for their teeth!

2.Let’s read.

(1)Read the text after the tape.

(2)Read the text in groups and try to retell.

设计意图:让学生带着问题听录音,能提高学生听录音的效率。跟录音朗读有助于学生模仿地道的语音、语调,为学生说好英语打下基础。

Step 4.Consolidation and Extension.

(1)Make a shopping list.

T:There are many kinds of goods in the supermarket.What do I buy?I’d like to make a shopping list.

T:Please talk in pairs and make your own shopping list.

(2)Make dialogues according to the shopping list.

A:What do you want to buy?

B:I want to buy...How about you?

A:I want to buy...How about some...?

...

(3)Show to the class.

设计意图:通过让学生自编对话巩固和拓展所学内容,利用新句型 How about...?给出购买建议,引导学生动脑筋,发散思维,训练学生灵活运用所学语言的能力。

(4)Moral education.

T:Look! This is my cloth shopping bag.This is a plastic bag.

Which bag do you like?Why?

S7:I like cloth shopping bags.布制购物袋绿色环保,可以循环使用。

S8:I don’t like plastic bags.塑料袋属于白色垃圾,会污染环境。

T:I’ll show you some pictures.(PPT展示)

T:There are plastic bags everywhere.They seriously endanger our environment.They belong to white pollution.What should we do? Don’t use the plastic bags to reduce the pollution.Let’s “Protect the environment,start from me”.

Ss:Protect the environment,start from me.

Let’suseour cloth shopping bags from now on.

设计意图:由塑料袋的危害到白色污染,教育学生使用环保物品,树立环保意识,争做环保小卫士。

T:Boys and girls,how many smile faces do you have?Count.
