冰与火

有人說世界将结束于熊熊炎火，

有人则说结束于凛凛冷冰。

欲看如火，体会其烈，

则知世之回于火为我所愿。

但若其必两度遭逢毁灭，

我知恨之极至，

必然明了，毁灭之冰，

同样魁伟，

同样顺人心意。

Some say the world will end in fire，

Some say in ice.

From what Ive tasted of desire，

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice，

I think I know enough of hate，

To know that for destruction ice，

Is also great，

and would suffice.
