China Non-Compliant Cosmetics Data in June:4 Batches of Cosmetics Rejected

On 17 July, 2018, China GAC released the non-compliant imported cosmetics data of June 2018, including 4 batches of cosmetics from 3 countries and regions. Body care essential oils, face creams and handmade soaps accounted for the majority of import failures. Reasons for rejection mainly included unqualified certificate, non-compliant label and inconsistent cosmetics and certificate. All cosmetics that were rejected have been returned or destroyed at the port. The following table shows details.

On 1 August, 2018, LMZ toothpaste has been registered by the FDA in the United States and successfully passed the laboratory test of the FDA. It becomes the first and only Chinese herbal toothpaste with legal sales in the United States at present.
