Welcome to the First China International Symposium on Microsatellite

The first China International Symposium on microsatellites will be held in Chang’an Campus of Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi'an, China)from November 18th to 20th, 2018.The Symposium focused on the design experience, scientific missions, launch opportunities as well as other relevant innovative technologies. During the session, distinguished experts and scholars will be invited to present plenary report,meanwhile, a related exhibition on microsatellite technology and applications will also be held. It’s convenient for you to apply for a booth via the website www.microsatsymp.com.

The topics included in the symposium are as follows:

· Design theory, method and experience of microsatellites;

· Radio communication frequency coordination scheme for microsatellites and corresponding constellations;

· Space debris removal technology;

· Constellation and formation flying of microsatellites;

· Scientific payloads and missions design;

· Advanced microsatellite subsystems.

· Other relevant innovative technologies and ideas.

The deadline for the abstract submission of the symposium (in English)is August 31st, 2018. The papers accepted will be indexed by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)and the proceedings of the symposium will be submitted to IEEE Xplore, some of the excellent papers will be recommended for publication in the journalAEROSPACE CHINA. The symposium was supported by China National Space Administration,Belt & Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance, Northwestern Polytechnical University, International Astronautical Federation, Chinese Society of Astronautics, Chinese Institute of Command and Control, IEEE Xi'an Section and California Polytechnic State University.The Chair of Technical Committee is Professor Jordi Puig-Suari (the CubeSat standard developer). The Co-Chairs of Technical Committee are Academician Li Deren (director of State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing) and Professor Zhou Jun (director of National United Engineering Laboratory of Microsatellite Technology and Application).
