艺术交流的基础在民间

“文化的多样性与尊重所有文化的特殊性是实现各国人民之间和平共存的要求。”沙特阿拉伯国王萨勒曼·本·阿卜杜勒阿齐兹·阿勒沙特曾这样说。这也是阳春三月在京开幕的“东方智慧”——中国阿拉伯书法艺术交流展的策划原点。

越来越多的中外艺术交流活动都在从“人民”和“民间”的角度出发，展现不同国家、不同民族人们的文化艺术的多样性：向希腊民众展现当代美术创作风采、在突尼斯展现中国“瓷”的魅力，或者以“一图胜千言”的方式让德国人民一览“当代中国”；而同时，我们在中国，也能纵览文艺复兴的意大利艺术、17世纪至今的乌拉圭民间工艺精粹和5个世纪以来印度的珠宝艺术成就……

民心相通、文化互鉴，其中的关键不只是“走出去”，而是怎样更好地“走进去”“融进去”，在这一“原点”上，本刊旨在报道诸多历史人文风貌的物化表达与成果，成为连接不同文明对话与信任的情感纽带。从民间出发的艺术交流，沟通开放的世界与繁荣的中国，将在深厚的历史交往基础上，在艺术文化的交流互鉴中共创未来，将美好的发展愿景推向新的时代。

This is also the planning origin of the Oriental Wisdom-China Saudi Calligraphy & Culture Exhibition, opened in March, Beijing.

More and more Chinese and foreign art exchange activities proceed from the perspective of "people"and "folk" to show the diversity of culture and art of people from different countries and ethnic groups: presenting the graceful bearing of contemporary art to the Greek people, showing the charm of "china" and "porcelain" in Tunisia, or letting the German people to browse the "contemporary China" through the way that "a picture is worth a thousand words";meanwhile in China, people can also review the Italian art of Renaissance, the essence of Uruguayan folk crafts from the 17thcentury to the present, and India’s jewelry art achievements in 5 centuries...

The key to the common people’s understanding and mutual recognition of cultures is not just“going out”, but how to better walk in and integrate. In this origin, the journal aims to report on the materialized expressions and achievements of many historical and cultural features, becoming an emotional link connecting dialogue and trust amongst different civilizations.The art exchanges stemmed from the people, an open world for communication and the prosperous China will build a future based on deep historical exchanges and mutual recognition of arts and cultures, while pushing the beautiful development vision to a new era.
