The official emblems for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are unveiled in Beijing on December 15.
Designed by Chinese artist Lin Cunzhen， the emblems combine traditional and modern elements of Chinese culture， with characteristics illustrating the vigor and passion of winter sports. Named “Winter Dream，” the emblem for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games （left） is inspired by the Chinese character for“winter.” The emblem for the Paralympic Winter Games， named “Fly High，” is based on the Chinese character for “fl y.” The organizing committee received a total of 4，506 candidate designs from around the world after inviting submissions on July 31， 2016.endprint
