My Father

My father is a farmer. He is now fortyfive years old. Because of years of hard work， he looks old① than his age.

When I was young， he is used to② tell me the importance of study. Father knows little about English and other subjects， but he usually gives me some good advice on how to learn my lessons good③. He is not only kind to me but also very strict with me. With his help， I have made great progress.

I will never to④ forget what he taught me. I think my father is the best father in the world.

1. 优点：

本文主题鲜明，段落层次清楚。先写了父亲的外貌形象，然后重点写了父亲对我的学习的影响，字里行间流露出对父亲的敬爱之情。小作者巧妙地运用了多个时态，使用了大量短语。尤其是文章句式结构的多变体现了作者不凡的语言功底。

2. 需要修改的地方：

①old改为older。因其后有表示比较的than，old应使用其比较级。

②去掉is。比较：used to do意为“过去经常做……”，be used to do意为“被用于……”。

③good改为well。修饰动词要用副词，不用形容词。

④去掉to。因助动词will后要接动词原形，不能接不定式。
